    Good article.

So it still sounds like they go with Law or Crittenton if available, but if not on to Stuckey. But you know, they still could take Splitter in there.

I have Wright listed as the #4 player in thisw draft. I can't see him dropping down to #15. Maybe if he slides we could jump up a couple of picks for a second rounder or two. I would be salivating over a bench that featured both Mydyess and Wright.

Julian Wright is the most "Rodney White" of anybody in this draft...

The thing is that I've also seen enough that I wouldn't be surprised if he was a game changing player for 10 to 15 years either, like a bigger Corey Brewer.

I'll be shocked if he can't guard 3's at the NBA level.

Imagine the shot blocking of Wright, Tay, Amir, Samb, Sheed, Max as your frontcourt rotation... Wow.

This guy is a roll of the dice, but if we lose Dyess he and Thorton (99% sure he won't be there when we select) become very very attractive.

I may have been a little exuberant listing him at #4. I have him behind Oden, Durant, Horford, Brandan Wright, Corey Brewer, and Mike Conley...maybe Noah. I think that he could develop into a more explosive Josh Howard. If he's sitting there at #15, then I take him. There might be guys who put up more points, but this guy does a lot of stuff to help his team win. If his hot can come around, then he could be a star.

draft express' podcast is mentioning that Seattle is dealing Ridnour for the #11 pick. The guy handling the prospects is Detroit's former guy Perry. So there are indications that Stuckey could go as high as 11. Rumor mill

Anybody that has Dwayne Wade qualities is OK in my book and deserves to be in a Piston uniform. Acie is cool, but we know he will probably gone by 15, but if Stuckey can be that rare unknown sleeper at 15 that can be the first star off the bench for us, then lets hope he is shaking Stern's hand with a Piston cap on tomorrow night. :thumb: :fingerscr

Or is he the product of Joe Dumars and Chad Ford Kool-Aid inc.?

This is really sitting uneasy with me right now. Noone was talking about this guy like this until a few months back when he showed up for Detroit in Chads first mock.

Then someone "leaks" that Stucky has a promise from the Pistons.

All of a sudden not only is every draft guy putting him down for Detroit, but now supposedly other teams GM's and scouts are saying to themselves "Whoa, what kind of diamond has Joe Dumars found here?"

And all of a sudden Stuckey is possibly #10, #11, #12 on the draft board.
Whats more, Pistons fans that have really never seen him play at all or not much at best are hoping beyond hope Joe takes him.

When are we going to learn? We did this with Darko, we did this with White. I don't know if I am ever going to blindly endorse a Joe Dumars guy ever again, especially when Chad Ford is involved.

Stuckey= Joe Dumars and Chad Ford creation. Are we really going down this road again?

    Does this sound familiar?

    It should.

Michael Jordan did it with Rodney White.

I'm almost hoping this is a red herring designed to make another guy drop to us.

It seems like, even this morning the only two guys guaranteed to go in fixed positions are Oden and Durant.

I think there will be a lot of fluidity in the draft.

I don't know ANYTHING about this Stuckey guy, but remember that Dumars and Rodman were steals that other people overlooked. So was Prince.

Has Chad Ford ever been right about anyone?
