    I can't believe that I thought the Heat would win 2 games against the Bulls. What a stupid I am.

    After the Bulls choked in their last game of the regular season, I was fairly certain Miami would handle them. However, I hesitantly went with Chicago because a certain "expert" seemed certain they would win, and in the past, this experts predictions have been really accurate.

    I also picked Dallas and Toronto to win though. :(

    I thought people here were nuts for thinking Golden State could take out Dallas. Not sure if anyone actually picked them in the contest though.

    Toronto has been flat out disappointing in the playoffs.

    I picked Miami in 6 over Chicago (whoops) and Dallas to win it all...:doh: Even if the Mavs somehow pull it out against the Warriors, they sure don't look like they're going to make it out of the West.

    I can't blame anyone else for those picks, but I do put 100% blame on Roscoe's Raptors hype for my picking them to beat the Nets. He got me with that one. :wedgie:

    The "Dallas" syndrome is a very difficult thing. They've been the best team in the league over the entire season where Warriors got hot during the last month or so. However, we've seen too many times when team going into playoffs on a roll takes out the better team that coasted during the last month or so since they've had their playoffs and their seed wrapped up.

    In the Toronto NJ series, it was near impossible to say how healthy would NJ's big 3 would be. If any of them is not healthy, they're a different team. They are, however, more experienced than Toronto and Toronto seemed to fold when it got difficult. Toronto also has no go to guy and Bosh had been disappointing playing against Moore.

    EXCELLENT point D4E!!!!!! :stirthepot::gun1::canada:

    Basically, truth be told, I was terrified I would get banned if I picked New Jersey.

    Dallas is not dead yet. I'm still not sure if I would change my pick if I was given the chance right now.

    They may not be dead yet, but they're definitely on life support. Anyway their psyche is too fragile to get anywhere in these playoffs.

    All they have to do is win 1 road game against an 8 seed.

    They need to win three in a row against a team I believe they beat one out of every 4 tries.

    It sounds like you'd give me about 64 to 1 odds. I'll take it.

    I don't believe their odds are nearly that remote, but at this point it is going to be very difficult for them to pull it off.

    The problem is not that they are down 3-1. The problem is that it wasn't really close for the most part, especially when it mattered the most. Can Dallas D stop Warriors? It would be a miracle if they did. And they also can't keep up offensively. Some drastic changes are needed and very quickly.

    Is this just a case of matching up horribly against a specific team?

    I know the Warriors swept the Mavs during the regular season, but their record was not great overall. So, it's not like they are just playing better all-around.
