Now richard jefferson is on the trade block as well Weekend Dime: Nash on 'toughest year' of his career - NBA - ESPN
Wow, that'll be interesting to see Morrison in the spotlight a little more. The guy is sort of a liability out there in many ways. The guy is shooting .361 this year and he's taking 93% of his shots as jump shots. Defense is about as weak as it gets. He does have range though.
The Lakers Grammy tour was successful going 6-0 while Staple Center prepares for tonights music festivities. That includes beating the Twolves, Grizzlies, Knicks, Raptors, Celtics and Cavs during a 9 day span. Not only did they stop a double digit Celtic winning streak for the second time this season, but they also ended the Cavs 23 game home unbeaten streak. They also won the last 4 games without Andrew Bynum and scored over 100 points in each road game with a average margin of victory of 9.7 points. Glad I am leaving town tomorrow morning so that I won't have to hear the laker radio jocks falling all over themselves...
I am hoping the Spurs can stop the Lakers after all this is an odd year and the Spurs won the west in 2003, 2005, and 2007. This year though maybe the Cavs comeback and beat them though.....if they can get by the Celtics that is
Hopefully not.I Hate the lakers Cleveland Cavaliers starting guard Sasha Pavlovic might miss six weeks - ESPN Another news: Al Jefferson will be out indefinitely after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee Huge blow for the t-wolves
Ben cut his forearm playing football. Fourteen stitches....must have been quite a game. I hope he was not Darwin Hammed.
The Warrior-Laker game was a great run and gun style that the Palace home team would never be able to sustain.. After leading by as many as 10 points back and forth through most of the game, the Warriors prove why they have lost 36 games by folding in the 4th qtr and giving up 37 pts. The Lakers scored 30 or more points in each qtr but still trailed 94-92 at the end of three. The Lakers got the benefit of some favorable calls and if you interview Magette or Jackson after the game, I am sure they will provide you with their candid thoughts on the subject. The difference in the score was at the FT line. Meanwhile Alvin Gentry's teams are averaging 141 points a game after drilling the Clippers two nights in a row. 142-( Alex Acker went back to his CD-DNP status and sat this game out). Amare >I am not going no where<Stoudemire scored 42 points as the Suns racked up 80 points on the paint...(remember the Pistons scored 86 points in their game the other night)
clippers were without kaman, randolph, camby. they had crippled frontcourt.. still good job for amare. andre miller went out(calf strain) for the sixers in third quarter, nuggets are so lucky. they won the game. Miller has played in 501 straight games, the longest active streak in the NBA.(source USA TODAY) it might come to end ...
Stephen Jackson playing center? What is Nelson really doing? Is he trying to win or is he purely trying to entertain?
