Good thing it is a regular season award.

Because if the voters knew that CB held him to 4 points and shredded him on the other end of the court, they may have reconsidered.

To refresh, in 5 games, CB had:
    113 points on 60 shots. That means .483 FG%/ .642 eFG%/ .942 Total Shooting % (unheard of)!

38 Free throws taken at a 95% clip.

37 assists compared to 6 turnovers.

Jason Kidd is doing a much better job on him so far.

I see Tay finished 11th or the first man on the proverbial "3rd team"

Interesting thing here is that the four of the five on the all defensive team were in top five for the MVP award voting too..

I was trying to figure out why this guy posts and never comments on another thread, and all of his links are to nba.com

Then I noticed he sneaks an affiliate link in

    ?cid=playoff1

    Each time he posts.

I'm going to contact the NBA about this spamming.

Chris Paul and Kobe making All NBA 1st team is the biggest joke in the league.

Kobe yes. Paul not so much...he led the league with 216 steals...next closest was Wade with 173...then Chalmers & Kidd tied at 160.

If we look at defensive win shares:

CP3 is #1 on the Hornets.
Lebron is #1 on the Cavs.
Howard is #1 on the Magic
Kobe is #3 on the Lakers behind #1 Odom, and #2 Gasol (all close)
KG is #4 on the Celtics behind #1 Rondo, #2 Pierce, #3 Perkins

Here is something that I though was pretty cool though. In terms of defensive win shares for an entire season, Ben Wallace's 2003-04 seasons ranks 2nd in the history of the NBA, behind only Hakeem Olajowon's '89-90 season, and only by a fraction. Glad I was a witness.

Paul is a very poor defender. Steals and blocks really mean crap as far as I'm concerned. I've watched the guy play plenty to know what kind of defender he is.
