Advance the day to next Monday, and you can set it now (for the week starting Monday). Theoretically, you could set your whole season right now by going to each Monday.

Novices, advanced players like Darth have lost so many leagues that they are great resources on how not to screw up your season, so don't be afraid to ask Darth about his mistakes.

He's always willing to share a sad story of regret and tragedy.

Well I can't exactly start smacking these guys around, because then I am a commissioner bully. But you would think one of them would have the moxie to slap me in the face and see if I will cower or rise to the challenge.

I'm not sure that's the way it works with weekly settings. If you drop/add a player he becomes available the next Monday and you retain anyone you got rid of until then too.

Guys, I beat some of you to a streaky Delonte West. 2 things novices need to know.

1. Clicking on "Opponents" shows you how many times people play over the next 7 days (check which day you are on when you click it).

2. Learn how to sort. Click RANK to see player performance based on pre-draft rank, season, month and week. That's how you can see who is living off their rep, and who is surging or getting hot. You can use this to add players as well. Sorting will improve your chances in free agency!

And a bonus. It is early yet, but Head-to-Head stats help you see where you rank vs. the league on each Scoring Category.

Remember, you need to win the majority of your cats, not all of them. So if you have a team weak in assists, but strong everywhere else, you might want to consider if undermining a strength to shore up a weakness is really a good idea.

If Baron Davis and Iverson stop fooling around and start playing some games then the sprockets will be all right. I only got two games out of the two of them this week.

How about the closeness of the shooting percentages - 0.471 versus 0.470 and 0.770 versus 0.772.
