In almost every league, I am always the Sandwich Microwaves.

Sandwich for the town I grew up in, and Microwaves for my Detroit News Forum name.

I have made several rookie mistakes:

    1. I dropped injured Tony Parker and Magette, instead of putting them on my BN list.:doh:

    2. I noticed NOW that Andrew Bynum is in my BN list: I forgot to drag him to my active list in weekend.:redface:

That's what this league is for. Learning. I've tried to play in the advanced league, and even though I have a lot of fantasy experience, guys like Motown and Winless will capitalize on every single mistake you make.

Yeah, those are costly rookie mistakes, but don't feel bad. Like Roscoe said, the league is for learning.

But any time you have questions about moves or anything, just send a pm out to someone with experience whether they are in your league or in another.

People are really nice about helping. I've got experience, but I ask Slippy for advice on specific basketball players all the time. Oh wait...no wonder my team sucks! :)

OK, there are labels "rank" and "O-rank" with some number. Do not now what to do with this info, though... Eg: Jamario Moon's O -rank is 92, rank - 56 so?

And what I should to do with "%owned" statistic?

Basically, the O rank is the Original rank at the beginning of the season. That's where they thought he would be.

The rank is the place where he actually is today in reality.

So a guy like John Doe maybe was O ranked 58 to begin the season. But he's been sucking and coming off the bench so his actual rank is 256. The O rank is kinda more like potential.

% owned just tells you how many people actual have the guy on their team. So a gul like Lebron will be 100% owned and a guy likre J-Max maybe 5% owned. But those numbers change quickly with any significant occurrence.

Hint: Rather than just look at a players numbers for the year, also look at recent trends.

If your team needs help...make a trade with Roscoe for an instant fix! :P

Thanks for helping Rax DT. You're pretty good at fantasy basketball. :gun1:

Yeah, I am the worst at making trades. I don't think I have ever made a trade and not been much worse for it. The quickest way to knock me out of any league is to propose a 3 for 3 player swap.

I'll give you Anthony Carter, Ryan Gomes, and Roger Mason for Wade, Wallace, and Bosh.

And Mason is a Virginia guy so you know it will pain me to do the deal.

    * desperately rushes to find a way to justify to himself to make the worst trade in the history of the world... *

That was is a liiiiiiiiitle too obviously bad dba. You could trade me Yao Ming for Darko, and Darko would have a HOF season and Yao Ming would be injured until 2010 3 days after the deal is completed.

The funny thing is...the trades look like good trades to me too when you make them. But then BAM! Out of nowhere. BAM! :pound::pound::pound:

Never fails. It's like Lambs and Slippy drafting guys who never had an injury in their career. The next thing you know the players are on life support!

Talking about drafting players that have never had an injury in their life.
My draft strategy was to draft players that don't have a history of injury, as many of yours may be the same. It didn't work out that way for me :hurt:

3 players in the top 20 last year: Shawn Marion-14th, Josh Smith-19th, Mike Dunleavy-20th all have had great non-injury plagued careers.

    This year however,
Shawn Marion averaged 77 games played through 8 full seasons in his career missing only 5 games. This season he has a broken nose and a strained groin, already missing 3 games.

Mike Dunleavy averaged 80.16 games played though 6 full seasons only missing about 2 games each year. Thats Amazing! This year he has a terrible knee and has missed all of the pacers games. Unsure when he will return.

Josh Smith averaged 76.75 games played through 4 full seasons, which is about 5 games missed each year. He sprained his ankle about a week ago and has missed 4 games already. He won't be back for at least two more weeks and up to 4 weeks.

    My luck:gaah:

Change it for next monday RIGHT NOW. You don't have to wait until Sunday. Do it now just in case you miss it next week again!
