My link of the day is: Curry wants fewer defensive errors - Detroit Pistons Basketball: News, Blogs, Photos, Audio, Schedule & Stats - MLive.com Mr. Michael Curry would like to have fewer defensive errors. This is a topic that my sister and I have constantly. Sometimes we feel that too many players (names disclosed) don't really pay attention to defensive errors or make too many of them. I think we made the most fouls last season (minus fouls that the refs think we deserve lol) as a team. I think that if the team pays more attention to how the other team is running their offense and the experience they had with that team. That will eliminate more fouls and other mistakes leading to open dunks, alley-oops, and lay-ups..especially lay-ups. I think that more people need to give him more credit on the ideas that he's coming up with. I understand that talking about ideas aren't going to make our team better but I have a real good feeling that these ideas are going to come into play when the season starts; no, the start of training camp. He has done some things that really make me like him like MAKING/TELLING Rasheed to get into shape and better conditioning and be straight forward with them especially last season. I seen one game where he darn near cursed Rip and Rasheed out both. He has my vote all the way. Can't wait for the season to start.
Curry is an amazing off-season coach. His interviews and soundbites are flawless! At this point, I think that he was a better pick than Laimbeer would have been.

Pistons' Curry wants team on top of substitutions - Detroit Pistons Basketball: News, Blogs, Photos, Audio, Schedule & Stats - MLive.com He gave Will Bynum, Chauncey Billups, and Richard Hamilton a piece of his mind for not moving fast enough to the scorer's table for a substitution. Lol I can see their faces.........their not used to that cause Flip would've never done that. That's the reason why they moved so slow getting to the scorer's table.
Baby steps man, just baby steps.. Pistons was too slow and predictable. Well, MC wants them to be faster, but this is step by step learning process: they have to learn how move faster off the court first. I hope that "unpredictability" lessons in traffic won't cause much problems for them.
Not many opportunities exist for Pistons' Samb - Detroit Pistons Basketball: News, Blogs, Photos, Audio, Schedule & Stats - MLive.com Cheikh Samb has to wonder when is he going to get his time on the court. I think he should have a 24-hour fitness trainer so that he can gain weight and get on the court. I really want to see what he can do. I'm tired of wondering when he is going to contribute to our team. Playing in the D-League will give him so more development but one day someone has to be like, "Alright, let's see what he can do. We should at least let him come off the bench and get in about ten minutes and see what he's looking like."
I think that is a good idea for all players toward the end of the roster. You don't have to play them regularly and take away other's minutes. Just stick them in for 5 minutes every 4 games or so during real game situations. Just enough to keep them highly motivated in practice and enough to see what they can do. That Lakers game when Samb and Amir put on that block party. Those are the kind of moments that can surprise you. At this point though, I don't think we've seen enough to know what Curry's philosophy is in regards to this topic. He's probably making sure that the main players get to know the offense and defense thoroughly before he moves on to things like giving the 13th-15th men PT.
M.C. sure knows what to expect out of one his players, that in my eyes should have already been an All-Star, and that's Tayshaun being an All-Star this year.
