Phillies win another one. Up 3 games to 1. Still need one more to close it out, but I think people greatly underestimated this team. Their ace pitcher Cole Hamels takes the mound in Philly tomorrow. It's going to be crazy. Philadelphia hasn't won anything since Moses Malone and the sixers won in 1983. Yep. It's going to be nuts. If the Rays were playing anyone other than the Phils (except the Tigers) I would root for them. Go Phillies!
Luckily the Phillies ended up pounding the Rays and that horrible call in the first inning didn't overshadow the game.
Still the umps have missed some calls in this series, and the Rays have been the victim of the calls even though none have really cost them a game. If this wasn't a World Series game I would not have put it past the umps to call the game in the middle of the sixth if the Rays had not tied it. Raining and Joe Buck said it was 39 degrees in the stadium.......I was in Alaska a couple of months ago and it never fell below 45....

Yeah, but the rain put them out. Philly fans, for the most part, are total jerks. Don't hold that against the players. Most of them are good guys
I don't mind the fans. Because they're knowledgeable. I'm not an N.L. fan, but I don't mind the Phils winning. It's been a while. Now, if only the Pirates could win something.
I was a Rays fan, but congrats to the Phillies for finally giving Philadelphia their first championship since Dr J was curing fans at the Spectrum in 1983. With the weather delay the Fox Network had two days to prepare their cameras as they showed 10 different angles of the last out to rub it in to the Rays fans
