Who are some of the players you'd want the Pistons to draft? I think these guys would be a good fit with the Pistons. 6' 11", 250 lbs Center DeVon Hardin, and 6' 7", 220lbs Small Foward Gary Forbes.
I realize that Joe tends to take the "best available" guy (as he SHOULD) ...but If for some reason, The Pistons decided to draft based on need, It would be nice to get a quality back-up SF or a true playmaking point guard to compliment Stuckey.
What about drafting any of these guys? Anybody have a thought? I know the draft is still far away, but its a very slow Pistons week. PG Ty Lawson PG Lester Hudson SG Courtney Lee SF Pat Calathes PF Ryan Anderson C Jason Thompson
Some have mentioned trading CB for the #2 pick. RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Beasley's Height Officially Released
Does anyone really think Miami would give us the #2 pick for Billups? I wasn't aware there were any 17 yr old 7'2" Serbians available.
You mean this guy? It's perfect. We draft his rights with our #1 and Miami will surely be all over the trade. Joe would likely be banned from the entire state of Florida after that....but oh well.
I like the "Best Case/Worst Case" Comparison for my man Ante (aka: MAD Ante). Best Case - Pau Gasol Worst Case - You KNOW just they wanna put the HVC down there.
We all have our favorite foreign players (my alltime favorite Gregor FuÄka - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) But I think, despite the success of Darko, Joe won't draft another foreign player for a while.
Take Nathan Jawai at #29. PF/C, 6'10, 275 It has nothing to do with the fact he is Australian. NATHAN JAWAI
His rebounding numbers don't look all that impressive for a 7'2". Also, from what I read about him, you can't count on more than 25 min per game from this guy because he's so big.
I'd take 25 minutes from him. We have to play Amir too! His rebounding could use some work. I just like that he is smart, works hard , and plays great D.
I like Hibbert. Extremely physical positioning himself on the low block when the offense initiates half-court offense. Georgetown plays at a pretty slow pace and is full of excellent rebounding forwards (Summers, Ewing, etc.). Rebounding isn't his strong-suit, but I wouldn't call him a bad rebounder. Not only that, but he has a very low usage rate in Georgetown's offense, which speaks volumes about the inability of their guards' willingness to make post-feeds. He could round into a player I'd like as half of a two-headed center-by-committee with Samb/other draft pick.
Agree other than I don't know that the other center will be Samb. Still VERY raw. I think we will add one via trade that we can rotate in. Samb will be our designated fouler!
How's that Duncan kid? Sorry, don't know what school. I just remember him having a good game when I was watching the NCAA tourney.
