I hope the Pistons take CDR. They may have to move up a few spots to get him, but i think it is well worth it.

Here is how he is described: Chris Douglas-Roberts is a big-time scorer who excels at slashing to the basket. He also is an excellent midrange shooter and should be able to step in and contribute right away.

    Sounds like a nice fit.

Yeah he was a beast. Saw a lot of Pistons DNA in him during the UGA game. Wonder if we could get him in the 2nd round, although I am all for just taking a guy who fits with this late of a 1st round pick.

Reminds me of Scorliss mixed with fellow Xavier baller David West.

If we in any way need(ed) a 4 I'd be ecstatic with him.

Can he play the 3 in the league? I doubt it.

sounds like Bill Walker hurt his knee again, I hope that scratches him off our list until at least mid to late 2nd round.

I agree. We do not need him as much as a scoring wing, but he still is solid and I wouldn't be upset. I have my fingers crossed for CDR or Rush.

It may be a reach to get either of them at the #29 slot but I'll keep mine crossed as well.

I think Ty Lawson would be a good pickup for the pistons

    I like DeVon Hardin
    NBADraft.net - DeVon Hardin
DraftExpress NBA Draft Prospect Profile: DeVon Hardin, Stats, Comparisons, and Outlook

He might not be an offensive juggernaut but defensively he could be great teamed up with Amir WOW.

After 08/09 we could potentially lose our frontcourt, the whole thing. Dice hinted retirement after this year so he could be gone, Sheed's contract expires Jmax's contract expires Samb's contract expires we need big bodies soon.

I just don't see the need to draft a guard/forward or sf right now. Pick one up in free agency such as

Gerald Green Gerald Green - Houston Rockets - NBA - Yahoo! Sports sure he is a nut bar but with guys like Rip and possibly Chauncey around to mentor him he could be a steal

Bostjan Nachbar Bostjan Nachbar - New Jersey Nets - NBA - Yahoo! Sports Had a great year as a sixth man for jersey.

Bonzi Wells Bonzi Wells - New Orleans Hornets - NBA - Yahoo! Sports Has his moments of greatness I doubt he would come back but worth a shot

The whole draft to me is sketchy because of the whole everyone is in play comment. If Joe makes a move before the draft we might need a different player. What if he makes a draft night deal that resembles what Ainge did, who knows. At this point I want changes, Flip was a start but somebody else needs to get their head chopped off to.

I'd take Lopez or Lopez...Nothing like a big man project.

Most mocks have us taking Bill Walker or Devon Hardin, I'd be happy with either.
