Jammer, when you're in first place as long as I have been, talking trash seems a little overbearing. I know you won't know about that, but take it from me, just "Try A Little Tenderness."

I seem to be clueless in hockey. After several weeks of the same two goalies, I switch it up this week. What happens on the first day of the week? The goalie I moved to the bench has a shutout.

So you'll see my Wizardry...If I get less than 18 points this week I'll be stunned.. That will put me about 8 points behind Sokil, who will go belly up agains the Reds, and I'm not concernted about Super's tanking team. So I'll be in Striking distance of the playoffs, with plenty of weeks to go. I may even end up in 5th, since it is Ice Breakers team that will be melting away. We'll be talking again at playoff time.:dizzy2:

My team is plummeting. I forgot to set my lineups this week. I do this almost every year. I make it to the top, and then fall backwards into the playoffs. :yellowprison:

Same with me. I clawed my way all the way to the top of the consolation bracket, but am now on my way down! (well, almost the same).

Where the he** did Reds come from???

I was out of town over the weekend and he cleaned my clock!!

His goalies won 5 games, pitched 3 shutouts, and won all 4 goalie points!!
That's the first time all year that's happened. I lead the league in goalie points, but not last week!!!

Well, on to easier pickin's this week (Bezeach :eyebrows::eyebrows:)

Communists like reds always sneak up on you, darn bolsheviks.

Is Super still asleep at the wheel? Is Darth still wearing his helmet?

Bill Laimbeer is trying to make a move, and just in time, because I was ready to take his corpse of a team to the morgue.

    Hi, from the Commissioner.

After Sunday only two more weeks to go in the regular season. It's been a lot of fun.

First, I want to congratulate everyone on a great season. Nobody quit.

I basically see three tiers of teams based on the points everyone has accumulated. Even the lower tier teams still have a shot at the playoffs.

    Top: Jammer, Woody, Roscoe.

    Middle: Darth, Bezeach, Mikhail.

Bottom: Laimbeer, Know All, Reds, Super.

Now, during the regular season the bottom team can blow out the top team on any given week. It happens often enough. Much of it comes down to match ups and numbers.

Still, the bye will be huge. Roscoe drafted some awesome goaltenders. Jammer is tough all around, but the goaltending is a question mark. Damned Cannuckians! Woody has pretty much been at or near the top all year.

My team has had some buzzard's luck missing the minimum goalie games at least three times due to illness or whatever...(by the way, next year I am going with NO minimum). I'm destined for a match up with bezeach in the first round...not a team I match up well with. Mikhail got Brodeur back the other day. He may be very dangerous.

Lambs has been plagued with injuries...so what else is new. Even though he got Crosby, I like bezeach's end of it better. Know All is having a nice rookie season. I think his goalies let him down. Reds and Super are enjoying their all Russian teams.

Good luck to everyone whether they are in the championship or consolation brackets.

I hope you all return next year (except Jammer...him...I plan to ban).

    Nice summary, Darth.

However, it ain't over 'till the .........

I'll save my kudos untill the bell rings.

The only place I want to be is as the lead dog. Every other position has an unpleasant odor.

    Ughh!

I have to root for Bill Laimbeer today :cheerleader: against the Cannuckian :canada:so I can maybe move into third place. Rooting for Bill Laimbeer goes against my very nature. :hanged2:It is like rooting for the Yankees or Voldemort:icon_evil::girl_devil::diablo:.

It's possible you'll squeeze in there.

You're certainly within striking distance of Mikhail. He has a tougher match up on paper. You have Wizards and he has Woody, but now that Mikhail has his best player back (Brodeur, who is on fire) he may be difficult to catch.

    Bring it on.:starwars:

Roscoe is making a rapid exit from contention.

Jammer, however, is riding high, but his time will soon come. He has fortunately hit the right opponents at the right time, but he can't duck the classy teams forever.

I'm sandbagging. In fact, I have tied lead weights to my ankles.

I made a stupid mistake last week, benching Zajac for a LA King.

Tater, nice pickup of Recchi. I thought about picking him up yesterday, but I like all of my players better than him.

But on a crappy team like yours, it's much easier to find trash to throw to the curb.
