Ok, so I guess I am the new commish. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Jammer for all his hard work. Now Jammer, if you'll just tell me how to get away with giving myself the first pick I'll consider the handover complete. Anyway, back to topic. This is the Sign-up sheet for Fantasy Football 2008. I will get to work on setting up a league very soon. I assume everyone wants Yahoo but if you have a suggestion for something else, by all means put it forward. Personally, I'd also like to start a Keeper league which will use ESPN which looks very good. But of course, we need the numbers first. So, state your name for the record if you want to play PF.com FF this season and also whether you'd be interested in a Keeper league as well. I don't think playing in 2 leagues is too much to manage. Football is pretty low-maintenance. If not, that's cool too. Once we have enough players, we'll organise a live draft time. Go!! Bill, its not one or the other. Season league will be going ahead as usual, but if we get enough interest I will start a keeper league over at ESPN as well.

I have created a league in both Yahoo and ESPN. Settings are almost identical. I have sent everyone a PM requesting your email address so I can invite you to both leagues. Please take some time to join and check out both leagues. In a week or so you will be able to vote in a poll for which one you would prefer. I personally believe ESPN has the potential to be the better system. It has far more customisable options, has free live scoring as opposed to paying $9.95 for Yahoo (however I have not seen this in action). I have tested out a Live Draft in ESPN which is quite good and also has Commish ability to pause the draft and make corrections during the draft, which Yahoo cannot do. The reason for keeping Yahoo is because it is familiar to everyone. However, I encourage you to look for yourselves. FYI - League settings are still able to be edited so please put forward any suggestions.

I have a friend at work who MIGHT be interesting in joining a corrupt league. Should I invite him? He's never played fantasy ball but wants to learn and he can't do any worse than Lambs... Oh..and Mr. Commissioner...about that poll...didn't you forget something...like THE POLL!!!!!
