Zetts deserved it. Although it was really a team effort.

I'm so happy for guys like Chellie, DMac and Dom.

The first memory I have of sports is seeing the Old Red Barn down on grand River in 1966. I was only 3 but Ive been enamored with that Big Red winged wheel ever since. The handing off of the Cup is still the only moment in Sports that gets me tearyeyed!

Long live the wings and thanks for making my year!!!!!!  :party2: :party2: :burp: :djparty:  :good: :cheerleader: :canada: :grouphug: :humble: :dancingparty: :dancingparty:

Me and my wife had to replay those last 12 seconds three times just to make sure that goal didn't go in...then the overhead cam played it out for us and confirmed it...

I even got my in-laws to watch the last three games as they had never seen a hockey game and they are in their 70's

Really good timing, too -- after the Pistons took another huge dump in the ECF. 'Bout time for Babsy; he's had some talented teams.

This is quite key with the Pistons facing ????? next season and the Tigers completely sucking, I needed something as a Detroit fan to get me through the summer. Thank you, Red Wings.

And congrats to Mikhail for keeping the faith during the Wings' lowest point in the season and through all the injuries. That dude never lost confidence. That's a pretty good fan there.

Way to go, Wings! Weird that they were the ones playing with desperation most of the last 10 minutes. Pittsburgh was totally gassed or something. A last-gasp shot by the Penguins skirted the goal line though, with Osgood just managing to keep it in play.

Cindy Crosby completely disappeared, as he has pretty much the entire series.

What did I tell y'all? Wings took care of the business on the road. Way to go. Pistons should take notice. Lidstrom is still going strong, even though he already had 3 cups. He still has that fire burning.

I concur Zoo, I thought the injuries would linger into the first round and knock them out then, thanks Mik

I sure hope every other Detroit pro sports player, manager, executive and down to the last popcorn and beer salesman at any Detroit park watched this game and learned what real champions are.
