Who is pumped for the season to begin?

I cannot wait.

I haven't heard anyone talk about the kicker (People rarely do). Is this guy any good? He could make or break the season. We had a really good one last year. The kicker wins and loses a couple of games every year. Is this new guy any good?

Dantonio has been very impressive in his first couple years. Looks like he's turning things around after MSU's many inept coaching hires and is finally establishing a decent program

If we can hang on to this guy we will be a program to be reconed with for years, I think.

Four passing touchdowns. Both quarterbacks have thrown two. Four different receivers have made them.

Still, it's only against a Division 1AA team so you can't get overly excited, but they are taking care of business.

44-3. Could have punched another in but didn't want to rub it in. Some good stuff from the quarterbacks. Too many dropped balls. Running game still a question mark.

Here, an 8 win season is predicted. It's been tough for State to put 2 winning seasons together. They need to Blow out Montana State in the opener. Should win by at least 42-7. Anything less spells doom for the program.

Spartans favored by 14.5 over CMU. That seems about right. However, this game probably won't be easy. CMU has a good team but lately Sparty wins the games they are supposed to win and likewise loses the ones they are supposed to lose.

Let's see how that offensive line and running game functions.
