I'd bill that one quite differently, but I agree. I'm glad you finally will admit it. That's the big game for both teams (until the end of the season when MSU plays Penn State for the Big Ten title).

Oh wait, maybe it isn't the big game... is Toledo giving you guys a rematch this season...?:pound:

Ahhhhh...you read me wrong Darth, ole buddy. UM IS the big game for MSU this season. Our big games will be against PSU and OSU to determine the conference champion.

Actually...He's a GRIZ fan. Another UM team. Can't say as I blame him for taking UM over MSU. You saw what happened to an MSU team.

    One hour until kickoff.

Time for the two best teams in Michigan to lock horns.

I only saw the last 9 minutes, but once I saw CMU move down the field on that last TD drive, I knew they would probably pull the upset. To have the balz to try to win on the 2 pt was crazy itself, but then to steal it on the onside kick and then barely get the ball inside the upwrigght may have proved that CMU is the best team in Michigan....second might be the Lions, then MSU and then Michigan..:)

I figured they would go for the 2 point conversion even BEFORE they got the touchdown. MSU totally deserved to lose. I wouldn't have been pleased even IF they had won after the way they played. CMU is a good team but you need to win those games if your team is going to be anything other than mediocre.

To lose to a MAC team at home is just not acceptable. Season over. All we have to look forward to is trying to beat Michigan...as usual. :pound:

There are still plenty of games to be played, but Sparty will be lucky to make the Little Ceasers bowl. A .500 team.

Sparty fans deserve to hear whatever is coming...but just in case U of M fans should wait until the Notre Dame game is over.

Is it time for me to start rooting for Boise State??? :cold:

Great game for the Chips. I think Notre Dame is a bit of a higher caliber team than the Chips Darth.

I guess CMU is the best in the STATE...

Let's see...9 more first downs for CMU.
CMU had more passing yards than MSU had total yards.

29-27...at least it was close... :)

    Sorry...I couldn't wait...

Indeed. I didn't mean to imply that they weren't. If U of M pulls it off then they definitely get the bragging rights...at least for now.

Michigan has their hands full with ND. Defense seems like a sieve...:gun1:

Sparty fans have it coming...hopefully the players get it worse.

How many touchdowns did the receivers drop in the end zone?

Thing is...when our team sucks...we readily admit it. But give credit to CMU too. They deserve it.

Ugh. Secondary looks somewhat suspect & penalties killed us.

ND just took the lead :sssh:

I also cheered them on...Including their bowl game. I'm just a good athletic supporter.

I was pulling for MSU ..UNTIL I saw CMU line up for 2. Then I think the whole state changed to Chip fans...

But when u get an offsides on a FG attempt AFTER u ice the kicker..U really DO deserve to lose!
