I know you need to go back to at LEAST two years ago to find a time when Michigan State beat a team that was favored to beat them. :(

I've been thinking about it, and I believe the game against Iowa next week is huge. If Sparty wins, it gives them an inside track to a great bowl game-maybe even the Rose Bowl. A loss and it's back to struggling to get a lousy bowl game.

I wish we were up to the task, but I doubt MSU will beat Iowa. They just aren't ready for prime time, IMO. Maybe I will feel differently later in the week, but not now.

Yeah, I think it's going to be the biggest game of the year for Sparty.

If MSU beat Iowa they would definitely be top twenty. Too bad it won't happen. MSU can never seem to win the big game against good teams. I'm not knocking Michigan. They are a decent team. But Iowa is top ten. We ain't there yet.

Remember when I stated about a week ago that if State ran the table, they would be the best team in the STATE. I forsaw this opportunity, and your Spartans will take advantage of it in a big way. You won't make it to the top 25 though because of your 3 losses. Look for a New Year's Day bowl game though.
