Ok, I will get you started:

. Western Michigan at Michigan, 3:30 p.m., ABC regional/ESPN2/ESPN GamePlan
THE BUZZ: You have to think Michigan folks are a little uneasy about this one. First, while Western Michigan has a questionable defense, it also has a big-time quarterback in Tim Hiller. Second, the Wolverines will be using two true freshmen at quarterback. Third - and most important - there have been all sorts of distractions for the Wolverines this week, and focusing on off-field stuff instead of on Western Michigan could end up costing the Wolverines.
THE LINE: Michigan by 12.5. THE PICK: Michigan 27-21.

I spent 6 years there...I majored in inebriation.

Talk about feeling like a little brother.

I was born and raised in Kalamazoo.
Dad worked for the Upjohn Co.
    Mother taught at Western.

    BUT

    I graduated from U of M!!

I'm pulling for the Maize and Blue.

I'm expecting a rout of 45-7 or better.
Those freshmen OBs will run wild.

    GO BLUE

    :)

RRod needs to go 7-5 this season. No losses to MAC teams, a signature win over PSU/OSU/MSU or ND and another win on the road Iowa/Illinois or Wisconsin. Don't recollect another season where it was almost impossible to know what to expect from this team. Freshmen QB, freshmen in other starting roles, mixed in w/ all the controversy. Hard to predict how the young men will handle all this. Having said that I expect them to beat WMU, though it won't be easy. Hiller is a good QB. Give him too much time and he can shred them apart. Key is to minimize the TO's. It killed them last season.

    31-0 halftime....just like old times..

still a half to go, but no way they blow it like The Ohio State Buckeyes almost did....

See if they can play this way vs the Irish next week though before we give them some full street cred...

Forcier: Kid needs about 15 lbs of muscle on him. Showed a lot of poise and made good reads. Did not look like a true freshmen QB at all. By far the best QB of the three.

Robinson: Fast as hell, but his lack of practice w/ this system shows. He missed several reads and chose to run instead throwing the pass. Once he gets his passing game up to speed, this kid can be a real threat keeping defenses honest.

Tackling: Was superb. Best I have seen in a long time. Defense looked good for the most part but the secondary got torched for a couple of long yards. Big step down from Cissoko to him. This could be a concern against ND.

Penalties: A few too many dumb penalties. Though one of pass intereference calls was BS.

Coaching: Liked how RRod limited airing the ball and getting a lot of the stuff done on the ground and shorter throwing plays. Good way to build the confidence of young QB's.

Overall a good game, though the 2nd half was sloppy. Sheridan is better off holding a clip board. ND will be more of a barometer.

I was there today, it was a pretty good game. The defense got pretty sloppy, but they pulled through!

Tate was great and Robinson as you said needs a little more seasoning. Nick kind of broke the momentum offensively when he came in and they never seem to have got it going again. They way they looked in second half, I don't think they could have scored against anybody....

    GO BLUE!!

You must be feeling a massive sense of desperation to reach back for a vid of hUMmers band in the 7th home game of last season...which they lost to Northwestern en route to 3-9 :(
