Maybe last year. You guys will blow them out this year. EMU stinks and U of M looks solid at this point.

I expect a tough game out of EMU.

Don't know about that..all of the second tier state schools, CMU, WMU and EMU gave a valiant effort vs their big 10 brothers. In addition to the Chippewas edging the Spartans by two, Western Michigan lost to Indiana by only four points as a win over the Hoosiers was thwarted by a Bronco fumble in the final minutes.

EMU lost in the wanning seconds to Northwestern on a field goal, 27-24.

If the Wolverines are still celebrating the Irish win, they could get surprised by EMU but I doubt it will happen.

I think that one thing that is overlooked is that it is always a road game for these schools.

These upsets might happen a lot more often if it were a big ten school traveling to their home field instead of having 100,000 screaming against CMU, EMU, WMU, etc. Besides the fact that it is a hostile environment, it is also just a shocking setting. Huge production, depth perception issues with a deep crowd, noise issues that they don't have to deal with, media attention, and so on.

IMO ...this is how the MAC shapes up:

    CMU is good

    WMU is decent

and EMU is not good at all.

It won't even be close next week...17 point victory at the closest. ;)

You'll blow out EMU and beat Indiana convincingly. At 4-0 Sparty will give you a scare before falling. Iowa will play you tough but lose. Deleware St....no contest.

Your last 5 are going to be killers. Penn State knocks you off on your turf...and you take 2 of the next 4...not sure which.

:gun1: 9-3 (But 8 or 10 are possible). That's my early season guess.

to add to things said... it shouldn't be close... northwestern blew a 21 point lead from what i am reading before coming back to win there game. The only thing going for them is there Headcoach wanting some payback for not getting the mich job.

EMU makes a whole lot more money by playing in the Big House than they do playing All Year at home.

Ron English NEVER wanted that job, he knows the pressure that comes with that job and in no way wanted that in his first head coaching position.

Ok, thats good then, I thought I remembered alot of static because the two cord were not considered for the headcoach when Carr announced his retirement.

I wish him luck but only after he loses by 35 this saturday.

Right. Not saying they shouldn't play at the big stadiums. Just that it makes them look worse than they are.

did you read where he turned on his computer Saturday night after the game and he had 1100 new Facebook friend requests??? I checked his Facebook profile today and currently has 4466 friends.

I think the Facebook rule is once you hit 5000 friends, the account has to change from friend status to fan status??

No I didn't hear, but wow that's amazing. I have no chance to be his friend. :(

He still seems to have his regular facebook.
