A good chance to watch Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga tonight as he starts for Venezuela against the United States at 8:00 pm on ESPN.
Bonderman after last night's game: "I'll be sore because of the effort I put in. But I'll be fine in five days." He threw 29 pitches and he should be rested up and recovered in 5 days. What a life these pitchers have!
havn't seen any spring training games..... great for my picking for fantasy huh.... but word out was that sheffield looked to be doing well and back to his old form?
Tigers release Sheffield, who's 1 HR away from 500 over paid for his production and with the trade they made yesterday there looking to get younger and faster in the outfield.
Hate to say i told u so...But Im 45, so I know how a 41 yr old body feels. Was stupid to sign him in the first place. Now Marcus Thames?Jeff Larish must step up.
they got an outfielder yesterday that has lots of speed.... and will allow them to move guillen to dh, sounds like him in the outfield wasn't going to work... with the young outfielders that have had chances in short duty the last couple years hopefully one of them is ready to take the challenge and make the job there own
Why I remain on this forum is beyond me. The humour is not even of junior high quality. More like third grade. And you all act like it. I try to bring a sense of gravitas and perspective to the forum, but it obviously has no effect on the quality of the posts. So much learning needed, and I have so little time.
