Darth, Darth, Darth. If you follow the ancestral lineage of Verlander through 14 generations of his family tree, you will see that Woody and Verlander are actually related. I thought you knew this already. Back in the days of the Civil War, Woody actually hung out with Abner Doubleday, who many claim as the inventor of baseball.
That's a bunch of bunk! I went back a mere three generations and found his uncle. He doesn't look a thing like Justin Verlander.
Let's see ..... Who finished FIRST in the Hockey League?? Who beat Tater in the playoffs?? Who missed the playoffs alltogether?? How's the smell back behind the lead dog??? You young'ins are still back in the playground. Hope you enjoy playing in the sandbox.
its good you keep getting pulled back in... without some folks with sence and rational this place would go bonkers....
Great. Thanks for pointing that out. I am on the fence right now about buying it. Maybe this will convince be one way or the other. I got overwhelmed at the # of games last year. When you pay for it, you feel like you have to watch them all. I miss those days in the mid 80's when all I had to do was walk in from the backyard, wiggle the rabbit ears a little and catch Lou Whitaker's lead off double.
Do u have alaptop, Tay? If so, go with ML.com online. U not only get tv games, no blackouts and ability to take a game ANYWHERE but you get RADIO vcoverage as well. Also, the TV package doesnt show more than 8 games a night(more if there are day games). I get the monthly package, just in case, Tigers start sucking by August, as well. Hope this helps!
