It's tough to get excited when you're in 9th place. :pound::pound::pound::pound:

You need Woody to join our baseball league next year. :stirthepot:

Yeah, I'm superstitious too. I really believe that any time I talk smack that I am going to get a beat down. It never seems to fail. Sometimes, though, I just can't seem to help myself.

Things are super tight right now. I'm keeping my big fat mouth shout. Mmmpphhh.:sssh:

Just as I predicted.....You guys would have a really nice battle for 2nd place this year. It's great when their is parity between the 2nd-10th teams. It keeps the rest of you second tier teams interested.

You mean, like talking smack and then later that day your ace pitcher Johan Santana is announced to have a season-ending injury? That kind of stuff would never happen to me. I'm just too good.

    Uggh. That hurts.

But at least he lasted a lot longer than Tom Brady did. I think your luck is finally changing for the better.

Note to fantasy gods: This is NOT talking smack. I'm not pimping my team. I am just making fun of Bill.

As it is turning out, picking up Justin Verlander in the 12th round of our draft was an okay move for me...

Picking up Mark Reynolds in the 20th round worked out okey dokey for me too.:MusicBigGrin::MusicBigGrin:

    Really?

I'm dumping his butt unless he has a good excuse. No place for slackers on my team.

So I've noticed some whining about my absence in posting anything here lately. I'm stunned that my posts were so looked forward to. Thank you and my book-of-posts will be selling soon. Anyway, as I adjusted my team, I did not want to let anyone in on my strategy. As you can see, by kicking the butt of both A-roids and Laim brains in the last two weeks, you-all can see that strategy has worked to perfection. So you can hand me the trophy now, or wait until I walk through the playoffs, either way is good for me. Does the trophy come in different colors, gold is so yesteryear?

Yes, there is a pink one reserved for last place. What would you like engraved on it?

I'm not sure what color trophy you get for being in the consolation bracket. Perhaps Jammer or Darth could let you in on it....

Sorry Bill. No consolation bracket this year. You can root for my team if you like...

I will be sitting idle next week when the playoffs begin, but the reason being is that the #1 team gets a first-round bye. Good luck to your team sweating it out. You and KnowAll would make a nice 1st-round matchup.
