I had byes the last two years so I am very familiar with them. I found that there is no challenge to winning the championship with a bye so I decided to try something different this year. It's no fun letting an entire week go by without stomping someone.

On Monday, my guys will stop their sand bagging and start our annual march toward the championship.

Lucky for me, Darth's team has fallen apart as predicted. So we'll see each other again in two weeks Laim, and it would be great if you could make it a wee bit closer than when we met last week....that was just a slaughter that, quite frankly, really had me feeling sorry for you. But enjoy the week off, you deserve it.

Picking up A-Rod in the 4th round was just ridiculous for me. This league is like taking candy from a baby.

Laim- it seems we won't see each other until the finals. I'm looking forward to that, not that I'm looking past the next two week's "opponents", but really, why waste the time. See you then. enjoy the week off.

It looks like Rounds and KnowAll have finished in a 5-5 tie. It appears the first tiebreaker in the playoffs is ERA....therefore, the win will go to KnowAll. Great matchup.

It's not over yet....I can't have any extra innings games or I might just blow it. My team ERA is dropping like a rock, the less at-bats the better. It was a good match, and was fun to watch....likely being the winner here that is easy to say!

So it is turing out to be easier than I thought. So A-Roid is falling like a rock... somewhere between the A and Roid there is a Hemor missing. So it looks like Laim and Porceus for the title. This should be fun!

Holy cow! Four trades today. Turning your roster over trying to get ready for your big 3rd place matchup next week?

Don't count yourself out yet, you still might have a chance to go for the championship. You never know, your team might not choke. Although its a very small possibility, you could be there. So don't get down on yourself too early, KnowALL. I believe that your team won't choke.

Being the rookie here, I really should have gone down in flames a long time ago. But since I'm still hanging out with the big guns I figure I need to shake things up so my championship ride is as easy as possible. Choking isn't even an option with what I have seen as the competition. I do apprecaite you-all making things easy for me. There will be a parade in my home town in 2 weeks, you all are invited, especially if you have a convertable for me to sit in the back of.

Good thing you got rid of that slug Carlos Guillen. Only 2 HR, 3 hits, 2 runs, and 4 RBI so far tonight....

One of the many stupid things I've done this year. But he had been playing like garbage the last month, and has sit out alot, and I couldn't just hope he was going to play and turn things around in the last week. This will probably be his only decent night this week (if he plays). I'm glad for his play though, the Tigers need to keep winning.

On the flip side, Clay Bucholz is looking to be a good pick-up.

Only a weekend to go Laim and you're (he's) kicking my A__. My only hope is some terrible pitching on his part. Would have been nice to be a bit closer coming down the stretch for fun's sake, but a nice championship series by Laim to claim the title. We'll officially congratulate you in a couple days....but again a few bad outings may make this interesting.

So you can start, or finish counting now. Congratulations...that was fun, unfortunately for me my season long "strong pitching" never showed up. Enjoy the moment and we'll see you again next year, dethroning someone is more fun anyway!!!:gun1:

Thanks, guys. It was a fun season.

Maybe I can get Rascoe to give me another trophy when he gets a second. :)
