    I'm with you, Nemo!

It doesn't really concern me that the Spartans football team isn't filled with choir boys.

Problem that I see is that the first game is 2012. The second game isn't until 2022. :noidea:

wow nice...i think that's good for both schools. MSU gets additional exposure, BSU tries to prove it can play a tougher non-conference schedule. but wtf, the other 2 games 12 and 13 years from now? lol

Huge game at Iowa today. But to me, the biggest game has already been played.

We beat Michigan and that would have been my first choice (that's not a knock in the least on Michigan but the rivalry game IS a BIG deal).

Next, I'd like to see us win whatever bowl we play in after losing about 28 in a row.

Next, I'd like to see us just getin a top bowl.

Next I'd like to see us take at least 2 of the next 4 games (which I would certainly think we can do).

Next, I'd like to beat Iowa.

I realize that a couple of the higher ones happening are contingent upon the lower ones happening, but I'm just sayin'.

I usually don't post before games are over but...It's 17-0 Iowa...still in the 1st quarter. I posted earlier that if we fell behind early by two TDs, that our chances would end. I am now going to pursue other endeavours...:(

    Well it's 17-0 Iowa.
If State loses, it's still a good story. And strong program.
And you whooped M so it all good.

If Sparty wins this one, it will be the comeback of the decade.

I'm just hoping to hold them under 50! :pound::pound::pound:

How far do we drop? Lower than 18? 22? Out of the top 25?

Iowa bigger and faster. Just much much better. Poor calls too, I guess.

No excuses. Sparty looking like rag dolls/clowns.

Very disappointing but not that surprising. Turned it off at halftime.

    :deathstar1::deathstar1::deathstar1::(:(:(

I don't see them dropping that far. But the pollsters like the freshest win.

Sparty had a nice run, but they were seriously over-rated at #5. Let's hope they can bounce back after this beatdown.

Sparty WAS overrated. I think they belong 13-20 but not in the class of the top 12.

Probably drop to about 18. That's where they belong. Should beat a couple of scrub teams. Then move up to 12 if we beat Penn. Hopefully don't get a bowl over our heads. I'm tired of losing bowl games to future pro quarterbacks.

Big ten is just a meat grinder. So many good teams without a clear standout.

What was worse than the Karma thing for me is continuing to have to listen to Matt Millen do commentary. Having him talk about football Knowledge is like having the guy at Taco Bell explain a wine list.

The Spartans should bounce back. I'm still figuring on an 11-1 season. They should continue winning just to prove to Michigan fans that their team doesn't need to have mid season meltdowns anymore. By the way, UM lost to Penn State 41-31. Talk about meltdowns...that bunch in A2 is falling faster in the Polls than Darth's popularity at PF.

Teams lose...I just hope that the coach learned a lesson from this loss. I don't know what that lesson should be, but I think he does. A team is measured mostly on how they respond after a loss.
