Agreed on Bell. But we still look weak even up 35-14.
Running game =A+
Quarterback = C
Nichols=A (Great TD catch when game was close and great attitude after losing QB contest to Cousins).
Keeshawn-C When he tried to pick up that ball on special teams I was like OMG!!! Don't" But he did. And it was costly. He did OK besides that.
New kicker = incomplete
Overall = B (Won't win many against Big Ten teams with all those stupid penalties, but then again, it was only the first game).
You'll be just fine. Remember...11-1 predicted...
I think both U of M and MSU have the potential to go 8-4. 9-3 at the very best (but unlikely). We both should get a bowl (6-6 is certainly attainable).
U of M will beat us this year.
No, I don't think so. MSU at a BCS bowl game...UM at the Topeka bowl.
I want Boise State to lose tonight (I doubt they lose) and therefore go to the Humanitarian bowl in Boise (other than a BCS bowl). BSU hasn't lost at home in years (literally) and by some miracle I hope MSU goes there too. Then another miracle and we beat them and I mess with everyone in the city.
You're really hoping for the planets to align just right.
Yea, he's probably hoping the Philadelphia Eagles make the playoffs, too.
Bill...you can just...
Ya know Darth. I really enjoy reading about all the strange relationships / situations that you write / post pictures about.
Reminds me of a wedding I went to awhile ago. an Older "transistor radio" was getting wed to a "young antennae". Didn't seem like a good match to me. The wedding was only "ok" but the "reception" was fabulous....
Uggh. Save it for the "Only Joking" thread seaweed boy.
Sparty favored by 26. Still can't believe Florida gave up a game in their home State for the almighty buck. Well...I guess I can...
Florida Atlantic 17
Not so good, but enough to keep us on the path for 6-6 or 7-5 to earn the right to lose another bowl game in the 4th quarter by a close margin.
MSU gets a for today...
MSU sucked. The NCAA needs to investigate this.
4th and goal from the 7 for Florida Tech.
3 minutes left. MSU up 16 points.
So you go for the touchdown. try a 2 point conversion. Hope to recover the onside kick. Score again and try the 2 point. It's a lot but your ONLY chance to win. Even a 6th grader knows that.
The coach of Florida Tech kicks a damned field goal. Game over. They have no chance now. MSU up 30-19.
Then he doesn't even try an onside kick.
MSU wins 30-19. I never felt so sick after a win.
First they play in Michigan and then the Florida coach does this??? What is going on here???
Florida tech never had a chance with that kind of odds. They simply knew it.
My concern is that MSU had 17 first downs and Florida Tech had 21...
Florida Tech could have done it. It was a bit of a long shot but their only shot. The Florida players were visibly ticked. The announcers were shocked too.
No need to stir the pot Nemo. I will be the first to admit that the pass coverage sucked, the quarterback sucked, and the offensive play calling sucked.
The running backs were very good.
MSU has a lousy team.
Good prediction, Darth. Did someone help you?
State should be able to clobber ND next week...
You know the old saying.."Even a blind squirrel can find an acorn now and then"...
The coach bet the under?
