I am sure those schools in Detroit need those laptops for training, education etc...did anyone in the Detroit area (celebrity or community org) ever come forward to help with replacing them??

Not to belittle Sims being an idiot, but why do Detroit public schools need $1500 laptops? Great laptops can be had for $600 and you'd think DPS could get a big discount on that, buying them by the hundreds. Sounds like more Detroit mis-management/kickbacks

Yeah, I'm really glad he is OK. That is great news. I figured he would be.

These days, modern medicine is so amazing.

As some of you know, I suffered a MAJOR heart attack in February 2009. The widow maker valve was 90% or 99% blocked. I don't remember which.

They had to bring me back from the land of the dead with the paddle twice. (I know, fool me once shame on you...). :pound: Wise guys! :gun1:

But I digress. So I got the stent and all that. Anyhow, it really shocked people (no pun intended), but I returned to work in about 2 or 3 weeks. I think I was out of the hospital in 3 days. I would have come back to work sooner, but I had to fight with the Dr. for even that soon.

He told my wife that I was the worst and most stubborn patient he ever had.:pound::pound: He was serious...[STRIKE]as a heart attack[/STRIKE]. I was so proud.

Anyhow, I'll bet Dantonio comes back in a couple weeks if he really wants to do it and if he can convince the Dr. to let him since his was "minor". :) My job is considered stressful too.

My heart pretty much made a full recovery.

Nice scrimmage. That was criminal. Games that are mismatches like that shouldn't even count toward bowl berths. Boring but nice to see the team execute.

    Final:

    MSU 45- Northern Colorado 7

I see us losing our next two (Wisconsin and Michigan) and then losing to Penn State in the finale. Michigan...just because.

So 9-3. I can live with that. I don't think less than 8 wins or more than 10. But hey...maybe it is our year finally??? Or not???

You really can't judge much when all you've played is a mediocre Notre Dame team. But they look pretty decent.

    I LOVE our running game!!!

Pretty tough. UM/MSU should be a high scoring one this year.

Look for the Spartans to win with their PASSING game. Also they'll be able to slow down the rushing game of Wisconsin. I'm figuring a score of 24-21 SPARTANS

It's not our offense that concerns me. Great running game and pretty good passing. But QB Cousins hasn't shown that he is a clutch player. In fact, if anything, I think he is the opposite.

I don't think Wisconsin can pass. Pass defense is our weakness, so maybe for once we can beat a team ranked above us...but I doubt it.

You have coaching and the home field advantage on your side. That will win you this game. Look for some good gametime decisions. A good game plan will be in place.

Ok. I'm going to go with Sparty.

Despite the fact that we have lost 14 of 15 since 2005 to ranked teams. Cousins needs a "good" not "great" game for us to win.

We can run and pass. Wisconsin basically runs. We are at home.

    #21 Sparty beats #11 Wisconsin.

Uggh...I feel dumb for going with MSU to beat a good team for the first time in ages, but eventually we gotta win one, right??
