Thge new AD will be careful before giving the coach another chance. If he rehires him, that means he has given Rich Rod his stamp of approval and Rich Rod becomes his coach. Not just a holdover from a previous regime. Most new ADs prefer to go in another direction if the program has slipped considerably. He'll look for his type of coach.

Rodriguez's fate to be decided after bowl | detnews.com | The Detroit News

AD is not happy with football program.

Phone Converstaion between Tom Brady and the AD.

    Brandon: "good morning"

Brady: "yea, this is Tom Brady"

    Brandon: "How's thing going Tom"

Brady: "I'm very unhappy with the football program back at my alma-mater"

Brandon: "Well Mr. Brady, I plan to evaluate the coach after the season and then decide".

Brady: "The team is so embarassing that Gizele and I will be changing our holiday plans. We cannot be seen on your sidelines at a second tier bowl"

Brandon: "Tom, I've received a lot of calls from former players who are not happy. Please come to the game! We will make you happy on the first Monday of the New Year".

Brady: "Sorry, but I have standards and expectations. Obviously your coach doesn't understand that."

Brandon: "Have a good season Tom"

Brady: "Enjoy your holiday at the Post Toasties Bowl"

Missouri, in my opinion, is one of the best teams out there. They had a really really tough schedule. You got a tough draw.

Then again, Alabama ain't much better.

Actually, the Wolverines face 8-4 Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl not Missouri. ..They gave up 20.3 ppg and scored 27 pg

They look like won most of their games in the first half, but the games they lost, the gave up an average of 28 pg.....I figured the Wolves will need about 40 to win if they can hold the Bulldogs to their season average....also they made 12 FG's :) I don't thinks the Wolves made more than 6 the whole season...

Yeah, Mississippi State is a much better draw...except when you go to spell it.

    Is that Rufus Henry?

Hey, I think it's going to be tough for U of M. Mississippippippi did lose 4. But those four were to Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas!!!!! That SEC ain't no joke.

I think the best thing you could do is lose that one, fire Rodriguez, and hire Harbaugh, if u can.

The best thing for Sparty is that you win and keep that piece of crap coach that WE own and YOU pay.

I'd prefer for them to hire Laimbeer. Ditka is my 2nd choice.

Doesn't matter if we win or lose. Harbaugh hasn't signed Stanford's new contract, which means he's gone, and Rodriguez is gone.

    Raise me up.

I was fairly stoked the Rines got the Gator Bowl. But now I see how far the Gator Bowl has slipped, the game will be televised on ESPN 2.
That's pretty deep in the cable network.
Only one other bowl-game will be televised on ESPN 2.

He must be one dumb kid to not be able to maintain a C average as an athlete. Cream puff schedule, easy major, all the free tutors at your disposal, hand holding, etc.

Hopefully the answer is just that he was partying so hard that he didn't even make it to class.

I heard on one of the sports radio stations out here that a comment he made to the Free press embarassed the university and someone looked into his grades and decided his punishment was to send him packing back to Ann Arbor...

Here is the comment/quote taken from a 6 page interviewin the freep

I don't think anyone punished him. He is academically ineligible. It's all based on grades that he earned.
