Interesting side note about Harbaugh to consider.

Many feel his star QB will return for his senior season, but HE must consider these possibilities.

-An NFL lockout next year would certainly bring an end to the huge rookie salaries.

-Expect to see a salary scale in place for all rookies...

-The Last Big Name QB last year signed for 6 years at 78 million, with 50 million guaranteed.

-After the Strike, the top pick will probably be looking at a 5 year - 15 million dollar deal, with only 5 million guaranteed.

If he goes now, he'll sign for big bucks........
If he goes, it makes it easier for Harbaugh to leave also.

It was the topic of most of College Live on ESPN. It would be pretty awesome with Harbaugh but I guess the competitiion for his signature will be pretty fierce.

Any update here?? The last I heard he was still employed and they wanted to discuss with the players tomorrow?? Something to do with Harbaugh turning his nose up to a potential Wolverine offer.

Moving RR now without a suitable replacement could mean another year of what the Wolves had the past three years, but w/o RR at the helm. I say get rid of the defensive coordinator, give Jason Hanson's son a FB scholarship and see if they can convince some of those redshirted SEC defensive players to transfer to Ann Arbor:)

There is no way RichRod can come back after ESPN is already reporting of his demise...

ESPN was retracting their statements earlier, so I was not sure what was going on...

I think UM should send Beilein out of town with Rodriguez. Both of these West Virginia guys have underachieved. Interesting how Beilein gets a contract extension and his team has gone 56-55 since his arrival. Not as bad as Rodriguez, but not exactly exemplary either.

interesting note. I heard Brandon talk about the Bball coach. he really likes him. He figures that his facilities have been sub par and that with planned improvements, he'll do much better with recruiting, and improve his overall record.

Everybody thinks that Harbaugh is off the boards for Michigan. Remember that I'm predicting a new coach announcement for Thursday. Look for it to be Jim Harbaugh. I'd be SHOCKED if he doesn't accept the job at UM.
