Wolverines survive sloppy defensive effort. Offense rolls, but puts up the points to fast and did not give defense a chance to rest or figure out what the hell they were doing out there.

in the post game presser, Rich Rod calls for FG kicker tryouts as the one try today was way off. The punter also gives up a big play getting a blocked kick with less than 5 mins to go which allowed the minute men to come within 5 pts in the closing minutes.

Mich turned what looked like a 17-7 halftime deficit into a 21-17 lead with two TD in less than 45 seconds to close the half.

Bottom line, this looks like 8-4 team unless they can average 45 points a game.

    GO Blue!

5 straight touchdowns for Michigan. Not sure I've ever seen them do that before.

They must be on pace to have the fewest % of points come from the kicking game in football history.

If he keeps it up he without any doubt deserves it, IMO. Those numbers are phenominal.

Rich Rod will burn the kid out before it happens. Big Ten will be tougher. Nobody can keep doing that all year...can they????

Any updates yet on the injuries to Robinson and Forcier?? All I can find is that they both "twisted their knees".

DR seems to be OK. They said he asked to go back in the game and was later given clearance to play... so can't be too bad.

Not sure about Forcier. The lack of news about it probably means it's not major.

Most yards in Michigan history today? Lots of records this year.

You're right...the Wolverines gave up more yards per game last season than during any other year in the long rich history of Michigan football. This year, they are ahead of that pace by 30 yards per game. That does not bode well for the Big Ten schedule.

No argument here. In 1997, a 3 point lead felt like a sure thing.

Being totally realistic, I predict 4 losses from here on out. The key is to recruit around the big star and have a few recruiting violations go unnoticed for the next 2 years.

We'll probably beat the easy teams (Indiana, Illinois, MSU, etc) and lose to the strong ones.

I remember playing OSU in 1997 and we gained 40 yards rushing on 40 CARRIES.
We still won cause their offense fared WORSE...and some guy named Woodson shut them down.

    Doing well.

Did any QB in the country rush for more yards total than DR did in the first quarter today? He was on pace for 500+ yards.

Yeah, you guys are pretty rough on the easy teams but the tough teams like UMass give you fits.
