Michigan has one of the best offenses in college football, but one of the worst, if not the very worst defense.

Out of 200 teams, we are 196th in ypg allowed and 200th in passing ypg allowed. And weve played mostly weak teams.

It is quite possible that we lose out the season if these stats have any merit.

last season started 4-0, finished 1-7

This season starts 5-0 ~ could finish 2-5, and get into a bowl game.

Would need to finish at least 8-4 for 9-3 for Robinson to have a shot at the Heisman even he continues to average 350-400 yards a game. I figure he will miss at least one or two games due to injury as those big Hawkeyes or Nittany Lionbackers will take him out before he gets to Columbus...

As far as the defense goes....if the offense could control the clock more, the defense wouldn't have to spend 35-40 mins on the field like last week. But those big offensive explosive plays puts the D back on the field after less than 10 minutes of real time rest.

The wolverines will have to average a min of 45 points a game and thats just to guarantee that they might win it.

HQ, you should make a different prediction for this game in every forum thread (Heat vs Pistons, Recipes, Gardening, etc.).

But when they needed to hold ND to 24pt they did.
Please don't debate this remark, thank you.

This one is so tough to call. Sparty's history of sucking the gas pipe looms large. But one trick ponies usually can't beat the better teams and I'm pretty certain MSU is the best you've faced and IMO is the better team...

We...we beat Wisconsin but there is lots of hatred here on a road game and Robinson is going to be hell on two legs...

But Greg Jones is a monster...

    But...

It's a shame UoM had to drop down a couple of classes to level the tables with Sparta.

Two Walverine co-workers were talking not far from my desk this morning about how great it would be if scUM was 6-0 after this weekend when I jumped in the conversation saying, "Not gonna happen". One says, "Wanna bet?" I said sure. He asked if I wanted to go straight-up or by the spread. I was game for straight-up but if he was offering the spread I figured, why not? So we agreed to $20 with the spread.

I told him I thought the current line was UM giving 4 points, but it didn't register with him. Took about three times for him to understand that I was telling him State was getting points.

He didn't believe me so we looked it up online: UM -4.5 He and the guy he had been talking to were absolutely shocked, both figuring scUM was going in as the underdog [IMG][IMG]

You don't know your up :tape: from your down (hole in the ground). scUM has been a laughing stock. They should be honored that we let them remain in the Big Ten.

LMAO. I knew I would get the ball rolling around here when I posted those scUM pin up girls.

It's supposed to be 80 degrees, so the gloves are a give away that you didn't get that image from tomorrow.
