Re: How many Piston wins until December? Is that the new Piston bandwagon on your avatar?
Re: How many Piston wins until December? No. It's a steam collider.
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Good prediction Dre....
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Hopefully an upset win in the ATL tonight proves me wrong.
Re: How many Piston wins until December? I'd love to see the Pistons turn this around...
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Dre also predicted 30-34 wins. They are only 30 short of that right now...
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Right now I am thinking they open the season 0-48 and then win their last 34 in a row falling short of the playoffs by 5 games.
Well, the good news is, despite our current record we are only 2.5 games behind in the race for the Central Division title. Everybody else in our neighborhood also sucks. Rethinking The Central « NBA.com | Hang Time Blog
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Maybe we should re-title this thread: "2010-2011 Season, Will the Pistons Win Any Games?"
Re: How many Piston wins until December? The Pistons are really going to need to crank it up a notch to reach Max, Lee, and Rascoe's prediction of 55+ wins....
First win of the seasson, "where terrible fourth quarters not happens ", suffered but needed victory. Coach, players and fans we need improve moral, i hope locker room and coach kuester be more confortable afther that.
Just FYI, we're on pace for 14 wins.
But nobody would ever take the under on that. Remember when the team's biggest problem was that only 4 out of 5 of our starters were all-stars?
Just thinking about our salary structure. We have this group of guys for $16M Bynum- $3.25M Monroe- $2.8M Stuckey- $2.8M B Wallace- $2.1M Austin Daye- $1.8M T. McGrady- $1.4M Jerebko- $0.8M Summers- $0.8M White- $0.5M And we have this group of guys for $49M... Hamilton- $12.5M (Chauncey's ex work wife) Prince- $11.1M (world's stickiest glue guy) B. Gordon- $10.8M (microwave type bench player) Villanueva- $7.0M (not starter caliber) Maxiell- $5.0M (currently in dog house) Wilcox- $3.0M (permanently in dog house) I'm fairly certain that the cheap group would routinely beat the expensive group if they were adversaries.
Those were the good old days. I remember that the popular opinion was that it was just a matter of time when Tay joined his boys in all-star status. Now? I just don't see that happening. He's a glue guy, and that's just fine by me. The cheap guys would house the expensive guys. I wonder if Rod Stuckey will be switching teams next year?
Re: How many Piston wins until December? Based on the last two wins...the Pistons will either go 2-2 or 0-4 on this west coast swing. The second game of the back to back vs the speedy Warriors seeking revenge might be the toughest as will the first one vs the Blazers.
At 6-11, the Pistons are currently on pace to win 29 games.
...Time to start TANKING.
Dumars doesn't like "tanking"..... We need to describe the art form in a different way so that he isn't offended by such a heinous offense. We need to tell him to "develop rookies and young second year players more aggressively" i think. If we spin it as development then we might have a chance. Then again......we might win if Daye and Monroe play more often. I guess my idea doesn't work and we need to find a coach who develops younger players.
Don't call it TANKING...Just call it SMALLBALL...
