So... Option #1 (if we get the #1 pick): Wall, Stuckey, Gordon Option #2 (if we DONT get the #1 pick) Stuckey, Gordon, Turner Wall is the no-brainer if we get the #1 pick. Truth be told, I haven't watched much of Evan Turner. I'll have to make a habit of watching more Ohio State games.
Option #3------Stuckey, Gordon, Wesley Johnson. Turner is a triple double waiting to happen everynight, I'm a UofM Alum, so for me to acknowledge and actually hope to acquire a Suckeye should speak volumes, as much as I dislike the Suckeye's this kid can go. We have to get this right, many teams improve their lineup when they get players contibuting at all-star levels while playing on a rookie contracts, it's what allows for the cap room to land free-agents. memphis has 4 players like that, OKC has 3 players, Port has 2. It's important that we keep JJ and Daye developing, so we can do the same.
Option #4 Trade the pick for a legit big... get your PG later... each year there is 3 or 4 top notch PGs... bigs are much harder to find. Not sure there will be a better opportunity down the road. Still think Stuckey is not done maturing at the position... It's worth another year to find out.
Does anybody know anything about this kid? Hassan Whiteside | NBADraft.net I am hearing now that he could be the number 2 pick in the draft this year if he decides to come out.
The ESPN 2010 draft game is now available... I tried it 5 times... 4 times we landed Al-Farouq Aminu Give it a spin:nerd2:
FYI. It's Super Tuesday and the John Wall show is on tonight at 9PM EST, 6PM PST....on ESPN right after the Michigan-Michigan State game currently airing. Your chance to evaluate his talent then jump on the Tank bandwagon or not
Load up the tank... let's go. We're currently at 1 in 20 for the top pick 1.5 games worse and we're 1 in 5 of snagging #1. Suck it up for one year and watch the offers come in this summer... can we re-hire MC to finish the year?
hmmmmm What player out there is worthy of giving up a number one pick for? That may be available that is....
Don't need a #1 pick, a top5 will bring the offers in, but to keep me from taking Wall, Turner or Wes Johnson, those offers would have to be sweeter than Southern Ice Tea. But, Wall and Turner make an already available Rip, even more available, we can take pennies on the dollar. Johnson makes AD or JJ available who can be packaged with Rip for a really sweet deal, and yes i think Wes Johnson is better than AD and JJ, although JJ does some stuff many players just won't or can't do.
The next couple weeks will tell a lot about our lotto rankings... NJ twice... Indiana, Milwaukee, Sac, Minny. May the best team lose.
It's good that we're playing those teams just as some of our guys are getting back. The team, not just the guys returning from injury but them too, will be out of sync. We can lose to those losers pretty easily. Then we'll still lose our fair share of games (most of them) against better competition. We need to win the ping pong derby.
Twice against the Nets? Now that is a morale crasher. Let's hope the Nets has become complacent with their huge lead.
