Could be sort of a Larry David/ Jerry Seinfeld situation.

We used to have Seinfeld in Detroit, now we have the marriage ref and they have Curb Your Enthusiasm.

    Delfino with 6 threes tonight!

The Bucks have emphasized defense since Hammond hired Scott Skiles as the coach when he took over, going from allowing 103.9 ppg in 2007-08 (23rd) to 96.0 ppg in 2009-10 (seventh).

The GM also drafted defensive-minded forward Luc Mbah a Moute in 2008 and brought in veterans such as Carlos Delfino, John Salmons, Stackhouse and Kurt Thomas.
NBA.com: Bucks' Hammond awarded NBA executive of the year

Wonder what Hammond would think of Gordon and CV?

Pretty disappointing Celts/Heat game for those who didn't want to watch LBJ. Neither team showed up to play.

    - And had to listen to Heinsohn who must be the worst broadcaster in the world. Being a homer is one thing, but being a homer and not adding any insight whatsoever to the broadcast stinks. The most insightful thing he said, and quite possibly his only complete sentence was "They (Celts) are messing things up". Thanks Tommy.

    - If the Celts had come to play they could have won by 30 in a laugher. If the Heat had bothered to show up they would have won. That kind of effort is a game that would have tied the series and given them the home court advantage is inexcusable. Might even cause Wade to think twice about resigning.

    - Beasley sucks.

    - Rondo doesn't.

How about Riley punishing Wade with a S&T to the Pistons for Stuckey, Rip and Kwame??

Did the Hawks choke this one away??

How could they lose to the Bucks without Bogut??

Are the Bucks, the Utah Jazz of the East?

....and the final question is why did we let Delfino go again?? or Hammons??:) If he was still working for Joe, we could have had John Salmon a clutch guy that can play D on our team....

18-5 close out by the Bucks.....FEAR the DEER!!

AS i recall all Delfino did was complain when he was here. The guy played 17 MPG off the bench for 80 some games on a contending team and it was not enough. He needed to go somewhere else so he could see that the Pistons were not purposely keeping him down. Looks like his attitude has improved.

Delfino was the only one to show up tonight for the Deer.

    20 points (4 threes), 6 rebs, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 1 blocks!

Better than Prince at this point?

The Celtics are up 11 at half time and Rondo is magic. Lebrons elbow doesnt look to good. LA is cheering and Stern is crying.

Rondo disappeared in the second half, and his teammates were terrible.

It is weird watching Sheed riding the bench in crunch time.

Terrible loss by the Celtics. They totally stopped executing down the stretch. Stupid focus on 3 point shots.

At one point in time they had Sheed, Ray Allen, Pierce and Rondo all hanging outside the perimeter waiting for 3 pt shots with Big Baby inside. Great plan.

Sheed was horrible. He couldn't hang on to any boards even if they fell on his lap, he was slow and disinterested on the defensive end, was a no factor on the offensive end. As much as I liked the player he used to be, I am so glad that he's gone.

Well, the Celts manhandled the Cavs last night to tie the series. The lead was up to 25pts in the 4th until LeBron decided to play and with the help of the refs the Cavs got as close as 11 points. But then the Celts refocused and extended the lead back up to 15-16 pts. Looking at the post-games Mike Brown is fuming and LeBron is in "chill-dude-nothing-to-worry-about" mode.

Sheed had a good showing in the first half to 17 pts. He got pulled out of the game in the 4th after a ridiculous foul on LeBron.

It certainly looked like the Celtics have a better overall team than the Cavs. All the other Cavs players seemed just confused and lost when "the King" wasn't playing 100%.

If LeBron indeed bolts this summer, this Cavs team will be a lottery team for many years to come.

I know the Hawks were coming down from an emotional series with the Bucks, but geez either they were tired, or the Magic WILL be in the finals again...

I missed the game so thanks for the recap. Yea, the Celts are the veteran playoff experienced team now. If anyone can stop them they can. Not that I am any kind of Celts fan but I would love to see LBJ and the Cavs go down in the 2nd round.

Wonder if part of the NBA marketing around LBJ is that you hate him so much that you tune in to hopefully watch him lose.

That's about how I feel. When I started watching this series I didn't know which team I disliked more. I quickly realized that I was rooting against the Cavs.

That's exactly it. Rooting against rather than for. It's the only series that I have any passion for.
