They opened up a can of worms in letting Pierce find his rythm also. But two games in a row is only two games in a row. If there is one team to turn this around I guess it's the Cavs. Still routing for them thou since I would enjoy Cavs - Magic more than Celts - Magic.

And it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He may have gotten off free as a bird from making a significant share of the bad mortgage loans that brought down the global economy, but at least he's having a little heartburn now.

But what are the Cleveland fans thinking? Boo LBJ for one bad game!!??!! If the Cavs lose in Boston, and I surely hope they do, that might be it for LBJ and the Cavs. Why play in a place with fans so spoiled that they don't even try to get the team going by cheering, but instead boo and jeer the guy who brought them every bit of success they've had since Mark Price hung them up? What a bunch of jerks.

It was fun though when almost all the way through the fourth that Glen Davis had scored as much as the entire Cavs team.

The Celtics still haven't put together an entire game, but if they continue to roll into shape, neither Cleveland nor Orlando is going to stand in the way.

There hasn't been much to cheer for this season, but last night was priceless.

I really do not care who wins this series but I sure do hope they beat each other out so badly that there will be a Game 7.

I only hope that the Magic will represent the East in the NBA Finals.

Mentally, it looks like LeWhine has already left the Mistake by the Lake.

In dude's mind he's already rollin down 5th Ave in a stretch limo living in a Penthouse crib overlooking CP. He just doesn't look engaged or involved in the game at all. He knows his team isn't good enough to win a 'ship so he's mailing it in. Very "un-Jordanlike".

    ...that, and his elbow hurts.

I haven't been keeping up and I don't really care that much, but yeah, I would like to see the Magic represent.

I will say this...I am so so happy that Lebron lost. I just hope that the Celtics finish them off. Classic! :pound:

I hope somebody beats the the Kobe's too. (I know this is about the east and not the West...but I'm just sayin')

Maybe the Cavs should be looking at bringing in Flip to coach?

I couldn't find anything else to watch with the tigers being rained out I flipped to the channel when the celtics were done 28-21? and they went on a 16-0 run and it was all but over from that point on.

I honestly had to check players on the court more then once to see if James was even on the court. he acted like he was about as intersted in this game as he would have been in the last 5 mins of the last preseason game and was playing the Jr high team from Columbus.

During time outs he was staring off into the crowd ignoring what the coaches were saying, he'd go to the corner and watch them pass the ball around on the other side of the floor.

I think his first shot was made with 6 mins left to go in the 3rd.

It was totally bizzar..... As much as I hate all that is Ohio, not even they deserved such a performance from there superstar. I will root for him to shoot 1-20 everynight, but I want and expect him to try hard. As Barley said in the postgame show there were nights that Jordon, Bird, and Malone had terrible games.... but you could never question there effort.

This was game 5 at home of the playoffs...... just amazing

Not to mention that this was the worst playoff loss ever for the Cavs. I'm sorry but that elbow is no excuse. How many injuries is Kobe playing with? There was total lack of interest on LeBron's part.

I also disagree that this Cavs team is not good enough. They have all the necessary pieces. All they are lacking is the heart of their superstar.

    Woj had a nice write-up:
LeBron’s moment of truth awaits - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

Game 6 is going to be interesting. We'll either be impressed by LeBron deciding to play, or we'll finally witness the Titanic going down. Probably the latter. The Celtics smell blood and they're dangerous.

Indeed. I was on a little, long (6 week) vacation. The rumors that Roscoe suspended me for gambling are untrue!

"I spoil a lot of people with my play."

That has to be one of the most egotistical quotes ever by a pro athlete.

Well I feel sure feel spoiled after all these years of seeing the Cavs go down in the playoffs. I'm starting to feel entitled to seeing Lebron coming up short.

Basically LeBron's playing success matches Flip Saunders coaching success.
Both produce, but not yet in the playoffs. :pound:

I just saw Cleveland coach Brown referred to as Mr Potato Head. I'd never heard that before, but boy does he look like Mr Potato Head.

Billups said the same thing after struggling ironically enough against the Cavs in the playoffs.
