I think the internet is upside down. It shows my team at the bottom, but it should be at the top. Weird. I've never seen that before. Hopefully they fix it soon.
My team is batting .198 and is leading 6-2. I seemed to spend the most out of anyone on pitchers and it's paying off so far.
What's it like for the rest of you playing in a league in which the 1st place guy has such of a commanding lead this early?
i always play to try to make the playoffs as from my watching... chances are just as good to win from the 4 spot as it is the first.... lol as they say, you don't win championships in may.....
My team is not good. Not good at all. I absolutely hated that auction draft. I'm never joining another league with one of those. I suck at it. I don't like drafting with the intention of screwing someone over and my mind processes data too slowly these days to keep up. Plus I always go for players on my favorite team. People know this so some try to jack up the price. I end up missing out on my favorite guys. Yep. Never again. Funniest comment during that draft. At the beginning of the draft, somebody (hitafreethrow??) asked how to make people bid higher on someone? So Rascoe said something to the effect of: "Just put the Philly mascot up for bid and Darth will bid $36,000.00 on it."
Oh poo poo. It's early. Work the wire. Get some wind in your sails. As far as your bias, I was helping jack up the price on Tigers and Jays too. All is fair in love and fantasy sports!
You guys who follow the sport have a huge advantage. Only thing I have to go by is how they are doing this year and if they also did ok last year. Thing with the draft is you can't be afraid to spend money.
i quite liked my results thank you very much.... took an early lead last week, and every morning checked to see if i had slipped behind. My boys stayed strong all week and were lucky to pull off the upset. Now to keep it up, and claw my way back into the top half of the standings.
Looks like my team gets a bye (playing Darth) this week. Time to move back to the top of the standings where I belong.
Jayson Werth, a Phillie , is killing me. But...the score (at this moment) looks like 5-4 my lead. Am I reading it wrong??
