    Hi all,

Please select all options that you are available to draft. If you have a particular preference please leave a comment. Live drafts usually take no longer than 2 hours.

Week 1 begins September 9 so would prefer to draft a couple of weeks before that so everyone has time to check out their rosters and make use of the waiver wire if necessary.

The draft will be a standard snake draft with the draft order being randomly determined just before the draft. Unfortunately last year's auction draft was not a success due to a number of no-shows.

We also have a couple of new players this season, therefore I believe a snake draft is the safest method. Apologies to anyone who preferred an auction.

If you have any feedback please post it.

I'm good with any of the times you listed. :) The sooner we know, the better, so I can be sure to keep it open.

The very best time would be whatever is most inconvenient for Coyne Jeremy and Bill Laimbeer. Oh, you can add Mogilny to that list too!

Other than those times, my very favorite time is August 28th at Noon.

I picked some time slots not because I know I can make them, but because it's possible I could make them. The others I know I won't make. I'll recommend the same that I recommended for the Novice Basketball league last year - don't go out of your way to accommodate me, because I don't want to bow out at the last minute and make people unhappy.

Football is a neo-fascist metaphor for war. :victory:

    George may have said it.
I first heard the analogy from a Poly-Sci professor back in college.

If you think about it, Football is pretty militaristic in nature.
...The whole "ground acquisition" strategy and all.

The Squirrels' ownership group is all about peace (and having a good time - all the time). We're just not cut out to participate in the [SARCASM]meathead culture [/SARCASM]that is PF fantasy football.
Ironically, me and Rufus have read-up on Pat Tillman and we have a lot of respect for that dude.

LOL, ok I'm gonna stop jackin' your thread here. I'm not even in this league and I'm getting everybody off-topic.

    1. figure out a draft time.
    2. good luck to everyone this year!

Please keep posting in this thread all season long. Your wit and humor are very much appreciated (I think I speak for everyone) and will add much needed flavor to the league.

Maybe you could have Rufus take on the role of a reporter who covers the league?:diablo::thumb:

I'm pretty sure the schedule resets after the draft order is determined. Could be wrong...
