Shouldn't cost me more than 3 pt.
You are loaded at TE. We may have to deal at some point.
I haven't really paid that much attention to this (at least not yet) but I checked it yesterday (can't remember why) and I saw that 2 of the 3 guys I drafted at running back probably won't play (Beanie Wells...curse you Bill Laimbeer for grabbing the Eagles running back one pick before me so I was forced to grab Wells... and I think a guy named Baker..I can't acess it at work so I'm not certain). That's what I get for not researching before the draft because I think maybe they had issues all along). So I put some scrub in (I think his name was Washington on Seattle). I really had to scramble to pick up a replacement but I can't believe I had to do that before the season even started. It's not like I expect to win this thing, but I will have lots of fun with all my Eagles even though they may really struggle. I'll be at the game so I guess I will start Kolb who is my backup to Rivers, but it will be fun watching my fantasy team live. Looking forward to the season big time! I'm not sure who I play in week 2 but it will be funny if I play Laimbeer because I will be rooting big time for his running back to gain big yards and score lots of touchdowns.
I think he is LOADED period.
Beanie Wells only picked up the injury after the draft in the pre-season. He shouldn't be out more than 1 or 2 weeks at most (if he does miss). Fred Jackson is the other guy you're thinking of. He had a broken hand way before the draft, but may be back for week 1 in limited capacity. But Buffalo is gonna be bad and they have 3 guys fighting for carries. Leon might be a good last minute flyer. It's all up in the air at Seattle.
Thanks for the good info and insight, Webzie. Now I even forgive you for telling me to do my own research when I asked about an injured player list!
The draft is over now, I can be a little more flexible!
You know, my joke arsenal about other nationalities is not limited to Cannuckians. I make fun of Austrookians too. Careful marsupial man...
Go for it, lets see what you've got.
Darn. I hate it when people call my bluff. ..........
An American wanted to become a Cannuckian, so he visited a doctor to find out how to go about this. "Well" said the doctor, "this is a very delicate operation. and there is a lot that can go wrong. I will have to remove half your brain". "That's OK" said the American. "I've always wanted to be a Cannuckian, like Rascoe and Jammer and I'm prepared to take the risk". The operation went ahead but the American woke to find a look of horror on the face of the doctor. "I'm so terribly sorry!!" the doctor said. "Instead of removing half the brain. I've taken the whole brain out". The patient replied,"No worries mate!!"
HA! That's funny.
Uggh. Save it for the "Only Joking" thread [STRIKE]seaweed [/STRIKE]tater boy.
@ Nemo---> Touche
I had no idea who Hakeem Nicks is but apparently I drafted him and that seems to have been a good choice.
Darth: All I can say is WOW!
Worst fantasy football showing for me ever. Downright awful. As the Eagles go so goes Darth. I still wuv my team. Congrats C.J. I'll getcha next time.
Man, why couldn't I have opened the season against Darth?
There there...everyone will get their shot.
Wow, Bill - Darth is the only team you would be beating right now!!
