Yea, you had a nice win against me. I put up huge numbers, but my defense couldn't stop you.

Congratulations Mogilny!! You scored a lot of points.

Your guys came through for you. My last running back was a couple yards short of edging you out. Oh well, we shall meet again, sir!

(I just checked and we won't meet again...until the playoffs). ;)

I get my first win against the 'Nesters.
I've got an 80 pt. team. That's not going to be good enough.
I picked up Sanchez, he puts up better numbers.

Swedes and Big Gurlz Remain Unbeaten After Week 3

The Wolverines of Sweden raised their record to 3-0 after edging the 6PieceEagleMcNabbets 126-116. Michael Vick put up 38.64 points to lead the McNabbets (1-2), but that wasn’t enough to defeat the powerhouse squad of Tom Brady, Adrian Peterson, and company. The McNabbets are going to need more than 1.2 points from Ronnie Brown at the RB position if they hope to contend in the future. The Swedes have won two close battles in a row. How long will this streak continue?

Big Gurlz took on the Runner-Ups in a matchup of unbeatens and it was the Big Gurlz (3-0) that came out on top 98-74. Even with Devin Aromsahodu putting up a zero spot, Peyton Manning’s 30.9 points was enough to hand the Runner-Ups their first loss. Matt Schaub only put up 11.64 for the Runner-ups (2-1) and the Miami defense was held to just one point against the Jets. This week, the Big Gurlz will have an easy going in their quest for 4-0 as they take on the #12 team Can’t Win For Losing.

All three winless teams managed to pull out victories in Week 3 to create a major logjam in the early-season standings. The Laim Legends (1-2) knocked of f Favre from Gone 95-75 on the heels of 24 Aaron Rodgers points. Free agent pickup Dustin Keller appears to be one of the league’s best moves so far as he put up 21.8 points from the TE slot. Roy Williams and CJ Spiller put up huge numbers for the Favre’s (1-2), but unfortunately, those two were on the bench.

The Chaingang picked up its first W by knocking off CJ’s Coynesters 87-72. Despite having Mark Sanchez (28.14) and Peyton Hillis (24.0) on the bench, the Chaingang (1-2) got enough from Austin Collie (29.10) to secure its first win. CJ (1-2) has the best player in the league with Chris Johnson, but the rest of his team is going to have to show up if he hopes to get back to winning.

Can’t Win For Losing (1-2) put up more points in Week 3 than it did in the first 2 weeks combined. That enabled the squad to pummel the Cowardly Lions 123-65 as the Lions (1-2) are struggling with consistency issues. Can’tWin was led by its receiving corps of Brandon Marshall (22.9), Anquan Boldin (31.96) and Johnny Knox (10.54). Besides Drew Brees (28.6), nothing much good happened for the Lions.

The Jammerville Jammers (1-2) roller coaster season went back to the downside with a 117-69 thrashing at the hands of Webz Wreckerz. Jahvid Best was simply not his best in Week 3 and Jammer paid the price. After putting up 41.2 last week, Best rebounded with 3.9 on Sunday. Besides an off day from Miles Austin (2 points), the Wreckerz (2-1) had the most consistent team effort of any squad in the league. This type of team depth will make Webz’s squad a team to be Wreckoned with as the season rolls on.

    AWESOME job, Bill! Thanks.

(I'm glad Rascoe decided to give you one more chance before banishing you to the NBDL).

Top Ten reasons your Fantasy Football Team Sucks:

#10. You use your waiver claim on the projected #1 ranked kicker and he gets replaced by a 46-year old.

Or you suck as an owner when: you pick up a guy as a free agent then on September 12th you drop him because he stinks again, then someone picks him up but drops him last Sunday morning then he goes off later in the day so you gotta waste a waiver pick on him yesterday knowing he will never have another game like that in his life...until you drop him again.

    Bill, nice pickup of Branch.

I just saw that he was traded and went to grab him. It showed that he was available when I started, but by the time I went to complete the transaction, it said he was already on another team.

Dre (I think it was him) did that to me once in the advanced basketball league. I went to another site to get more info on the player and couldn't figure out for a couple minutes where he went when I tried to get him? :MusicBigGrin:I always think of that when I go to get a free agent because I'm afraid it will happen again.

Thanks, Jammer. I went to pick up the Redskins backup RB earlier today and I noticed that some knucklehead beat me to it (by about 10 days). The same guy, by the way, either picks up or drops Golden Tate every 3 or 4 days.

I thought my receivers were my biggest weakness until Malcolm Floyd put up 213 yards and a TD yesterday. If he gets me 27.3 points every week, I may be okay.
