Ernie Sims goes to Philadelphia Eagles,Tony Scheffler to Detroit Lions in three-way trade - ESPN

I'm glad Darth has someone to root for in Philly now that McNabb is gone! :pound:

Scheffler is a nice pickup. Here is a TE that can get you 500-600 yards and 4-5 TDs. Just one more weapon to take the pressure off the young QB.

The NFL schedule for this year comes out today. The teams that everyone plays are known a few years ahead, but WHEN they will meet is what we find out today.

I know that the Eagles will be playing the Lions in Detroit this year. Oh man...if the Eagles lose I'm really gonna hear it. :pound: I don't think they will do that well this year with a new quarterback. I'm wearing my dearly departed Mcnabb jersey in the office today. Anyhow, I think the Thanksgiving game will be against New England. The other team on the schedule in the Patriots division is the only other possibility.

I'm looking forward to the game. I'm also eager for the much anticipated Redskins (with McNabb) vs. The Eagles two games this year. Should be a prime time event.

Lions play Minny, Green Bay, and Chicago on the road with the Eagles at home for the first 4 weeks. Looks like 0-4 to me...Actually, the schedule spells about 2 wins as I see it. :eyebrows: :lecturer:

We should be much improved we got a starter from Sea. at LG. Nate B. is small but fast. Our secondary should be better, if we get Suh or McCoy our DL is much improved. Questions at RB and backup QB.

Yeah, I'm sure we're better than Philly this year. I mean, they traded their franchise QB! Who does that? I feel bad for Eagles fans this year...:stirthepot:

If it is not too much trouble, could you become a Cavs, Yankees, Packers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan?

If we're making requests, perhaps Darth could cheer for Ohio State, too.

For once (and only once) I agree with Laimbeer. Root, root , root for the buckeyes!

A buckeye: a small hairless nut of little or no value.

I can't afford it, but I am seriously considering flying into Detroit for a week to visit and watch the Eagles game.

Rascoe and Jammer live together in a cozy little igloo to the far North. Polar Bears scare me, so I'm not chancing a visit. Besides, where in the heck do they sell Mukluks?:cold:

Actually, They live in Windsor which is SOUTH of Detroit.

I think they've spent way too much time in the sun.

I don't know much about Mukluks. How do they taste?

our QB had a WR - 6-2" 210 lb 4.55 - 40, in college named Marko Mike***. Lions are looking at him. This WR scored ~12 TDs that year. I hope we keep him and he developes again a good rapore.
