That is because you own the place (which once gave me food poisoning, by the way).

    Jammer's Boracay Restaurant

    Vestibulum quis tincidunt metus.

"If you think dining at Boracay is expensive, wait until you encounter Jammer’s Boracay Restaurant. This food joint is actually a fast food, one of the firsts in the white-sand island. Jammer’s can be easily found within the popular D’Mall, where some of the famous restaurants in Boracay can be easily spotted.

Late night dining is offered at the restaurant. That is because it is just one of the few food establishments that operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is not surprising to see Jammer’s Restaurant crowded during the wee hours of the night. Many vacationers drop by after partying around the whole night. The location is also strategic for watching people pass by..."

Darth gets Google Alerts for Jammer sent to his inbox daily. It's kind of sad really.

He's like a loyal dog that I keep trying to get rid of. Every day I drive him farther and farther away from home before letting him out, but he still manages to find his way back.

Stop feeding him Jamm, show him some tough dislike.

What gets me is no QB coming out of college since Peyton M has been better than Peyton M. So why do they keep getting bigger contracts?

Peyton Manning wasn't as good as Peyton Manning when he came out of college, either. He was reborn (in the media, at least) when he finally won a Super Bowl.

You're missing the point. He's been the ultimate passer from day one.
Does Stafford or Bradford even compair? Why are they starting out with considerably more kash?

Same reason you can't buy a Mustang for $2,999 any more.
Price of inflation is taking it's toll.
Remember...Manning came out 13 years ago.

The Colts almost took Ryan Leaf instead of Peyton. My point is, these teams don't know if Bradford or whoever is going to be even better than Manning. Plus inflation. Plus, giving unproven kids that kind of money is what these teams sign up for when they don't have to fully guarantee contracts or when they can cut these guys anytime they choose. Plus, I'm sure there are other factors, too.

My other point: Peyton Manning had a reputation as a huge choker until he finally won a Super Bowl. Now he's widely considered the best thing since sliced bread. History is being rewritten because he finally had some success. I'm not saying his negative critics were right before, or that his positive critics are right now. Just trying to offer a reality check.

Peyton Manning won his Super Bowl over the Chicago Bears. The Bears Q.B. was a joke. Any team (other than the Lions) would have knocked off that Bears team. If he was a choker before that game, he was still a choker after that game, IMO.

Sure, Manning beat the Bears in the Super Bowl, but he also won 17 other games that year (none of which were the Lions), including playoff wins over Kansas City, Baltimore, and New England. The Bears were 15-3 going into the Super Bowl including a 39-14 thrashing of New Orleans in the Conference Final. It's hard to take anything away from Manning's achievements, IMO.

I'm not knocking the guy. I personally believe he is one of the top quarterbacks ever. I just meant that winning a Super Bowl shouldn't be everything. It shouldn't define someones career. It would have really sucked for him if he never won a Super Bowl, but I don't think that it should be the definitive measure of him as a QB in the end. (Although sadly, it often is). :(

Look at Barry. Maybe the best ever, but just never had a chance. I don't think we can take anything away from him.

(Not that I'm salty about McNabb coming up short).

Peyton Manning took 2nd place in the Heisman Voting his senior year.
Lost the voting to a defensive star.

Dick LeBeau was enshrined into the Football HOF today.
He played CB for the Lions during the 60s.
He mostly (14 of 15 minutes) talked about his current assignment, being the
Defensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Also talked about former coaches who influenced him.
Only Lion's coach mentioned was (asst. coach) Don Shula.
The classy Pittsburgh Steelers gave the whole team the
day off to travel and witness his enshrinement.
The Steelers owner was even there...Where was WCF........:gun1:

LeBeau was bad ass. Played a couple years with Barney, and you only messed with Barney in desperation.
    ********************
As for the Manning debate, the reason we may miss football next year is because owners need to cut cost to control inflation. Inflation isn't inherent. But the logic of, if, your #1 pick gets $50M my #2 should $49M. Is BS.
And if #1 got $50 last year, this years should get $55M.
Then the owners turn around and tell the union you need to help us with costs. When it's the unions job to take and take more. I would like the Government to step in and bitcch slap them both back to 1999.

I'm sure you'll be willing to pay $500. for the NFL TV package soon.
How about a commercial after every play? You likey ?
Help them get more and more money.

I don't currently pay anything to the NFL.

Don't they already do that now?

Obviously people like the product. If it's too expensive they will take a hit because people will be unwilling to pay. I don't see that happening yet.
