I think we just need a new poll every time there is a major trade. That should be defined as one that changes the starting lineup.

I picked 38 earlier, but that was before they waived Deron Washington. 37 wins.

It's quite exciting to see who'll win. Pink or Cyan.

50% + 1 is my absolute minimum standard of success, I don't think I could bring myself to watch the games if I expected less.

I predict somebody, whether one of the rookies or Wilcox or somebody else, is going to play WAY better than anyone expects right now. Watching for this could be the most entertaining and most important thing to happen this season.

I also predict we will be below .500 until the long home stand in Jan when we break the .500 mark and the second half is a new season.

I hope 38 wins, EC is less terrible for our team than portland or memphis 82 games of regular seasson in WC.
We have a good team but afther deadline of trade we will lost a starter SG or SF surely...

I'd say that the group wisdom points to 41.08333 wins by taking the weighted average.

I'm assuming that the less than 29 wins means an expected value of 27.5 and that over 58 means an expected value of 59.5. I'm also assuming that the person who guessed over 58 was not joking.

I'm looking at around 45 wins this year, since we got a better coach and younger, hungrier players.

I really do believe we are going to win 50 games. Too much talent on this team not to. As long as they play together.

It's been a rough summer. All we have heard is how bad the D will be. How Rip and BG will not get along. How Stuckey is no point. How Ben W is washed up and CV can't play D.

It's really not that bad of a team.

40 wins if we can get our PFs involved. Say double digit pts every 2-3 games. Other wise they're just a waste.

At 5-9, we are tracking toward a 29-53 record if there is no imrpovement. We have the 3rd longest losing streak in the NBA right now, with only the Nets and Timberwolves outdoing us.

Rip and Tay's absence has hurt us. We lost an overtime game. In most of the games, we have had 4 out of 5 players on the court be new faces from last year, so we're probably not completely jelling yet.

However, Tay might be out for some time (and may not be himself) and when Rip comes back, he will likely become our starting SF. We'll score more, but will probably give up more too without a bigger athlete like Jerebko filling that spot. Hopefully it will be a net positive.

Langlois is reporting that Tay may return before Rip, possibly in a week or so. Rip maybe a few days later. That's going to be like starting over for the most part and reintegrating those guys won't be all that easy.
