Yeah, most of us were off. It was fun to guess. No harm in it and at least everyone that voted had the balls to try. Why are some of you guys backtracking and justifying your lousy guesses? No biggie. It was a crapshoot pretty much. But congrats to those that seem to be on target at this point. You either got "lucky" or saw something the rest of us didn't. :)

I still think they have 46 wins in them. They'd only have to win 31 of their remaining 39 games.

Stop wishing Tay another injury! And no, Dumars will not trade for Amir!

This isn't that unrealistic of a goal. Our schedule gets easier from now on. Almost every single team we'll be playing has been a sub .500 team at one point in time.

i think due to the mash units, we should all be allowed to subtract 10 wins from our total.

This could be 2 years in a row where ALL PF prognosticators have over guessed the victory total. Our current record plays out to a 28 win season. Certainly being 18 games below .500 at this point of the season has got to have even the most pessimistic fan wondering what went wrong. This appears to be more than just the injury bug.

Do we blame the shoes??? Whoever supplied the Pistons with them cost the team over 75 man games with the ankle injuries and probably 15-18 victories at minimum. I mean this should be a .500 team grabbing the 7th seed and losing in the sixth game of the first round.

The coach was dealt a bad hand with those injuries and I am certain a veteran coach would have squeezed another 8 wins out of this team as I think about the ones coach K blew in crunch time.:sssh:

I read that Rip, Gordon and Will were all wearing the same brand of light shoes and it took the double ankle injury by the Will before they traced it to the shoes....I don't think I read this in any Piston media stuff, it was somewhere else.

Based on the remaining 21 games, I see no more than 6-7 victories from this team. That should keep us near the 4th or 5th lottery spot ... unless we lose them all. Should we start a new quickie poll to see how many more W's they can squeeze out? or L's??

pick falls somewhere between 1 and 8

Well, it's confirmed now that Tally is the winner.

But in reality, nobody is a winner after the season we've endured.

I thought I was being harsh when I predicted 34-37 wins.

It looks like it would have taken about 40 wins to make the playoffs this season.

    57 voters and 9 choices.

If the votes were randomly laid out, what would the odds be of the end result having only 1 voter?

    I'm guessing it's 1 in 1000ish.

Interesting...Tally has only made 190 posts in 55 months of membership.
That's about 3/4 posts per month, and such wonderful insight.
On the other hand, Darth posts about 4 per hour and........:)
