Glad you finally made it to celebrate your team....
You need to do that more often...
Not only after a win.........but before.

    congrats to the Sparties.........
Hopefully they get the #1 seed.
Michigan should land safely with a #3 seed.

    Let the Brackets begin................

Sparty got the #1 seed, but have several of the "M" schools in their region.
they get Memphis in round 2...............
also possibly have to contend with Murray St., Marquette, and Missouri...........

Sparty showed mean ole' Buckeyes that nobody better mess with our little brother. Don't worry,MSU isn't scared of any of those "M" teams. They are the best team in the Big ten, after all.

Congratulations to U of M on securing the #4 seed (although I remember somebody around here predicting a #3 seed). Now the Wolverines don't have to conten with any of those "M" teams...except themselves of course. Well, St. Mary's could be a test for some...but not for the #3 team in the Big Ten.

Crystal ball says either Memphis or St. Marys advance past a Michigan team..............

Smotrycz was foul prone, but they are going to miss his three point shooting next season...especially with Zack and Stu gone too. Maybe with the new freshman bigs showing up, they move to an inside game.

Sparty is done. Good season. Disappointing to go out in this round as a #1 seed, though.

Sparty is done. OK season. Didn't expect them to go so soon as the #1 seed.
Wisconsin out also..a one point loss.

Very sloppy game by the Spartans. Green and Wood appeared to be the only ones prepared to play.

Green played hard, but had lapses. He's a great leader.
I thought the key to the loss was the play of Appling.

I couldn't even recognize the team I watched last night.
They seemed to be saving themselves for the next round while Schmooyville played like they were gonne be killed if they lost. ...props to Schmooyville!

The only positive that might come out of last night's loss would be more schmoeyville jokes.

It's OK. Prior to the season nobody expected them to be even close to a #1 seed.

    Great season!

People won't always believe that. Izzo can take bread crumbs and make turkey dinner.
I will always expect his teams to compete. I expect Izzo to be Big Ten coach of the year......

Coach of the Year could be interesting. Ohio State is having a great run. Michigan made some nice improvements. Generally, the award goes to the team that improves or overachieves the most. Izzo will certainly be in the running.

Izzo is human. The season before last was pretty bad. I expect Izzo to do a good job every year. It doesn't mean that the team is going to win a lot of games or advance to the Sweet 16. This year, IMO, he did a fantastic job. MSU tied for the Big Ten championship in what was SUPPOSED to be a down year, MSU won the Big Ten tournament in what was SUPPOSED to be a down year, AND MSU advanced to the Sweet 16 in what was SUPPOSED to be a down year. I would EXPECT that other people would appreciate these accomplishments.

Your "praise" of MSU sports teams (doing better than Michigan teams) just come off as condescending left handed compliments rooted in envy. Highly entertaining...although it gets old sometimes.

No envy here because I do cheer for MSU during the tourney.
Especially if Michigan gets knocked out.
I always believe that MSU will compete in basketball.
Remember...last season was supposed to be another down year for UM football....
Just can't keep good programs down.........
Not sure what a left handed compliments is???
I've seen condescending fans cause I've been to UofM football games.
    I don't like them.........
It's Ok if you choose to give me that label.
I'll just add it to the others that you've given me over the years.
The transvestite whatchamacallit was the best so far....Although the "fish" related ones are good too........

I did NOT label YOU as condescending. I merely identified my perception of some of your statements regarding MSU .

I DID call you the other names and will continue to do so. :cheeky-smiley-012:
