    Hi all,

Please select all options that you are available to draft. If you have a particular preference please leave a comment. The live draft for Keeper usually takes around 30-45 minutes.

We can change times to suit if we need 30 mins here or there.

Opting to make the draft a couple of weeks before the season starts due to the xmas period, but have one option for the Friday after in case everyone is unanimous. Not much preparation time, but we can blame the owners and players for that.

    Draft order:
    1. Slippy
    2. bballJay
    3. Max
    4. Linwood
    5. Roscoe
    6. webz
    7. Laimbeer
    8. Warthog
    9. Winless
    10. Ralphie

With free agency beginning on December 9, should we perhaps wait a week or so to draft in order to see how things are shaking out?

Ideally yes, but problem is I will be out of town after the 16th and I imagine other people will have commitments the closer it gets to xmas. I honestly don't even know if all the owners are still around! I will send an email out to everyone.

Are we still going with 4 Keepers, one of which has to be a rookie or a sophomore?

Sunday would work best for me, but I am flexable.

Yea, from WebZ last year: "After his 3rd season he needs to become a Standard keeper or dropped."

The young keeper can only have 2 or less years experience at the keeper selection. His 3rd year will be his last YK year. I've posted the list of eligible players on the League page.

Hmm, running out of time for this weekend and don't think we are ready. 3 options:
    1. Can people do mid-week next week at all?
    2. Next Friday as shown on 16th
    3. Other option would be to slot it in just prior to the Advanced league draft. Draft should only take 45 mins tops.

I'm flexible. I'll block off time for the draft.

    1. I could draft Tuesday or Wednesday night.
    2. I can't draft on Friday.
    3. That might work.

Middle of the week is tough for me, unless it's a very late draft. I'm not home from work and free until around 7pm Pacific, which is 10pm back in Detroit. If that's the way it works, I guess I can use an autodraft option.

Just prior to the advance draft is good for me or a mid week draft.

I need Laimbeer to message me whenever this is happening, and I can be there. The 16th is uber busy for me, but I will make the entire world wait in order to do this.

    Hi all,

It seems best to stage the draft just prior to the Advanced league draft. Time has not been our friend this year so this makes the most sense. The draft will be at 5:30pm EST on Sunday 18 December. Hopefully most people can make it. If you are also in the Advanced league, this should serve as a nice warm-up.

Last year the draft took less than 45 minutes so we should be finished with plenty of time to spare before the Advanced draft.

    Thanks everyone for their understanding.

PS - There is a small chance I will not be able to make the draft so BillLaimbeer has kindly offered his services as backup commish for the event. :clap2:
