If both are 9-3...nobody goes to a BCS game, unless MSU is somehow still in the Big Ten championship game and manages to win. Wisconsin is currently losing...and so is Nebraska...so they could still qualify.

Anyways...If both teams are 9-3 and neither wins the Big Ten...then MSU will get picked for the better bowl.

    You read it here first...........:)

Looks like Indiana makes a nice comeback...but doesn't pull it out.

This will cause Darth to lose more sleep....

Truthfully, I hope Darth's prediction is much closer....
That's the way it should be............

By "nice comeback", you mean that they don't forfeit back their 3 points?

    Current score:
    MSU 55
    Indiana 3

Not from me. I really really really enjoyed the game (even though it was against lowly Indiana) but no celebration unless they get a Rose Bowl invite...or win a bowl game maybe. Winning the division is cool but it isn't any big deal.

I was proud of Dantonio, COUSINS, and the rest of the team today. Honorary mention goes to my 2-0 combat jersey. Also to nemo :fishing: who believed in this Spartan team from the beginning.

Michigan State will be ranked the #2 defense in the nation after this week's numbers are added........

They will surpass LSU and be right behind Alabama...........

Time to get excited cause championship time is near.............:)

Wisconsin won't know what hit them if they're lucky enough to beat Penn State...

Badgers haven't been improving as the season moves on...like MSU has.........

I also have my August prediction which is the Spartans defeating Stanford in the Rose Bowl...

The stars are lining up...and it's time for MSU to shine...........:)

I'm looking at a tough battle on the road. If MSU loses, they could end the year 9-5 (Northwestern, Wisconsin, and then the Bowl). That would be an ugly end to a very good year. So they really need to keep their streak going. Cousins breaks the passing record.

    Michigan State 38

    Northwestern 30

 No way the Spartan defense gives up that many points tomorrow. The scary part is the offense. What Roushar game plan will we see?

I agree. Like I said. They will ONLY give up 30. No way Northwestern gets 31...

The writing is on the wall. This is a meaningless game. Win..or lose..it doesn't matter. They only go to the Rose Bowl if they win the Big Ten Championship game. There is no other BCS option. Lose the Big Ten Championship game...and it's off to a lesser bowl. What they do Against Northwestern will not hinder or help anything...

Northwestern has everything to play for............

    1. It's the seniors last home game..
    2. They probably don't get a Bowl game at 6-6...
    3. 7-5 and they'll surely be heading to a warm weather bowl....
    4. Beating an inagural Big Ten championship contender has prestiege...
    5. The know that Darth thinks they will lose............

Yeah, great prediction...28 points off the way I see it

First time the Spartans have back-to-back 10 win seasons. Cousins passed Jeff Smoker for most TD passes all-time. Cunningham started the day tied with Plaxico and Andre Rison for most TD catches but is now just 2 behind Kirk Gibson. Amazingly, he's still 5 behind all-time leader Charles Rogers who caught 27 in only 2 seasons
