Not really. Both teams are better now than they were the first game. And we get to play Gholston this time :football:

ESPN is already giving Wisconsin the edge...that's just the way I like it

Good...I see the talk about the rematch has already started....

First...a few notes about the season.

    1. Darth predicted 7-5
    2. Nemo predicted 11-1
    3. They finished 10-2

Also...I want to apologise about predicting a loss against Northwestern. I was just joking when I posted that one. Darth always accuses me of being a spy for Michigan and not really believing in State, so I decided to make that post. I loved the way that Detteam called me out on my prediction right away. Anyways...I had to make a convincing argument...so I went with the psychological angle of the game...That's really all I had.

The big game is here and I was hoping for Penn State, but after the scandal...the team probably struggles with focus issues. Anyways...Wisconsin is saying all the right things, by giving MSU credit for a solid victory, but now they get another crack at MSU.

Personally...I think that MSU is gonna clobber these guys. I mean...how many times can the national press drool over Wisconsin when they've lost the last 2 against State. If I were State...I'd be downright pissed off for not getting the recognition that they deserve. If I were State...I'd actually..................I'd actually feel the way Darth acts around this thread concerning the neglect of the rise of MSU as a power in the Big Ten.

Wisconsin has put together 4 good games since losing to MSU and OSU during their drought. Don't let that fool you. These guys from Badgerland will choke when the big game arrives. State will play mistake free football at least as good as State can do something of that nature and beat those guys to win the first "Big Ten Bo" trophy. My prediction is..........

    MSU 38

    Wisconsin 21

Their prize is that they get to play Oregon in the Rose Bowl...........................

    :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Let's not forget the Spartans got screwed out of last year's Rose Bowl by the BCS

"Michigan fans rank up this high not because they throw things or are rude at games, but just because they out do us all when it comes to arrogance.
As a college football fan, the "high and mighty" attitude gets to me more than anything.
Michigan fans come in first here for many reasons. They seem to forget losses very easily and instead use that brain space to hold onto wins much too long. Pride in a team that has been weak in the Big Ten over the past few years is beyond belief.
Claiming to be better than a team that just beat you badly is crossing the line in my opinion and arguing with them is impossible. They literally will ignore you, no matter how strong your facts are."

Have any of the Michigan fans here at the forum displayed this type of behavior???

I believe that the UM has alums who practice this behavior regularly.
To me..........those people are sad. They think that Ann Arbor is the center of the universe.

Not at this forum but in general, it's true. For example, one of my daughters is a UM grad and thinks her poop doesn't stink claims there is no rivalry.

Wisconsin favored by 10 points over MSU. That just seems wrong. But that helps give Sparty an edge. I'm not so sure the Badgers are going to win that game, although all the experts see MSU getting crushed.

Well, I will curse my team AND shock nemo with my guess.

    MSU 31

    Wisconsin 28

The point spread really doesn't make sense, no matter how you look at it. I wonder how the Wisconsin players and coaches feel about the generous reward.

Don't forget that point spreads are not made by football experts. It is simply the 50-50 break-point where the general gambling public is wagering.

That's what I don't understand...I figured there were more bets coming out of Michigan than Wisconsin.
Bets being made for the home team.........MSU...Unless all the UM fans are taking Wisconsin...:noidea: :eyebrows:
