Now Boise State will be prepared for Toledo. :yellowprison::yellowprison::yellowprison: You guys just don't know what it is like living here.

The population is phony as hell, anyhow. I'd say something but it would be politically incorrect and somebody wouldn't like it.

But they try to act all humble on the surface but are really smug and boastful. Play more than one real team and STFU.

I root against every team they want to win and root for every team they want to lose. If Georgia (who lost to Boise) beats South Carolina today I will barf. Close game at the half.

BSU is a very good team with a brilliant coach. But pleeeaaaassseeeee. seriously, I would root for Michigan in a heartbeat over Boise State. THAT says something.

Well, anyhow, rant over. A nice MSU victory. I'm very pleased. But let's see what happens down the road.

I thought they did not run up the score. I think they played pretty conservatively and did not want to reveal anything to the other team [STRIKE](like the Philadelphia Eagles did in their preseason).[/STRIKE]

Nice win. When does MSU start the part of their schedule when they play other college football teams?

MSU just never got untracked today. That 89 yard KO return was a back breaker even though they were able to score afterwords and get back within 4...14-10...but after that, the Irish defense just frustrated Sparty

    MSU was definitely over-rated.

That was an embarrassing game on both sides of the line. I'd love to have Treadwell and Greg Jones back

Weren't able to win without a sustained running game. QB sacked 4 times also hurts. ND wasn't all that as State outgained them in total yards. The offensive line just wasn't ready to deliver in this one.

The crap Spartan offensive line lost 3 more guys in 4 days.

They will need to fight to even make the idaho potato Bowl (which i hope they would so I could watch them lose to Toledo).

    Currently 2-1

    Win...Central Mich, Minny, Indiana, @Northwestern.

Lose...@ Ohio St., Michigan, Wisconsin, @ Nebraska, @ Iowa.

Now, of course they will win a game they should lose...but they will also lose one they should win.

    That means 6-6.

Some crappy bowl, but why bother? (Maybe so they can possibly beat another lousy team and Cousins goes out a "winner"). :rolleyes1:

Got a picture of Darth feeling sorry for himself...as a Spartans fan.

Their loss was a surprise to me but the season still marches on. I'm still in their corner as a true fan who will not give up after one loss. I look for victory this weekend, and then they will pound OSU following..........

I was just looking at MSU's schedule this year.

Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Ohio State all in a row? It's not as bad as it could have been if UofM and OSU were stronger, but what a gutsy stretch to purposefully put on your schedule.

UofM doesn't have to play Wisconsin this year... which is lucky, but also it is something that kind of stinks about having a conference that expands.

Conference expansion is useless. It adds too many teams to the conference and waters down the traditional rivalries. I always prefered bowl games as a reward for a season well done. Trying to build 4 super-conferences is only being done to build to a national championship game. Maybe when the Pac-12 rejected the additional teams of Oklahoma and Texas-Tech, they had the right idea.
