It's a home game for Iowa but Michigan is the superior team. Iowa is angry and embarrassed after a sorry Minnesota beat them. But Iowa allowed it to happen so there must be problems. Good weekend for the Michigan teams.

Well not quite....however your score was almost right on as Iowa defeated the Wolverines 24-16....in a game where Michigan appeared to get dominated, but still could have and should have won despite INT at the goal line thrown by Shoelaces right before halftime.

IMO to much QB shuffling by Hoke and the offence coordinator and then to much throwing he Robinson should be optioning to run instead of staying in the pocket. I know that last drive had less than 90 seconds to go, but there were opportunities to run once they got down there in the red zone, but it was all passes all the time and the Wolverines got hosed on a couple of calls in the end with a no call flag on the last play, and a TD that would have been a TD in Ann Arbor. (A similar flag was picked up earlier in the game where M should have gotten the call).

7-2 not bad, but there is still a possibility that this winds up being a 7-5 team in the end...here's hoping for 11-2 including a bowl victory

It was weird. I read this entire post and for some reason I thought that detteam wrote it. As I progressed I was shocked that detteam was writing what he wrote but I guess he didn't after all since you wrote it, Dre. LOL! Duh.

Michigan has a tough road ahead, but I think they will win a couple. Normally, U of M gets the calls, don't they? So I'm sort of surprised the refs went Iowa's way this time. (I didn't see it but based on what I'm hearing Michigan got screwed).

The Big ten is so unpredictable this year. NO WAY Northwestern beats Nebraska in Lincoln. But voila!!!!!!

michigan was on thge 3 yard line and ran 4 plays to try and send the game into OT. They failed to make the play. The one incomplete was bobbled by the WR as he came down. Another was dropped. the QB played well trying to get it in, but his playmakers let him down.

I didn't watch the game, but saw the lowlights. The one handed catch looked like a TD to me. Did he really bobble it?

The one I'm referring to was at the end of the game with just a few seconds left. The ball hit the ground as he landed. If you're watching to see if the feet are in bounds than you may miss the ball hitting the ground. it was very discreet to the naked eye...

You've got an uncle in the football business...Robinson football.

Denard dominates. 4th loss in a row for Illinois.

He has Wisconsin going to the Rose Bowl. I originally had MSU playing PennState for the Big Ten Title, but with recent events...the crystal ball has been shattered. I still don't see Wisconsin as the Representative in the Rose Bowl. I don't see Michigan going there either. Maybe MSU actually makes it...

Anyways, If UM were to play in Glendale (Phoenix)...Allegiant Air would take me and the missus there for cheap. :) :) :) :)

Since I am located here, 45 miles from Champaign, IL, I don't need to fly at all.

    Should be cold and blustry.

I'm hoping for a UofM victory, but Zook is such an inconsistent coach that his team could do most anything.

I'd be happy with a one point victory.

Let's not get too greedy about any bowl possibilities. After last year, a win would be nice.

    GO BLUE!!!

Michigan wins and that makes 5 teams in the Big Ten with an 8-2 record.

    It's a shame that Ohio State is 6-4...They really suck... :) :) :) :) :)

The big ten seems to be the home for defense (in terms of points against). Penn State- 3rd. UofM- 5th. MSU- 6th. Wisconsin- 8th. Michigan continues to overachieve on defense and it has surprisingly been better than the offense so far this year. Must be some great coaching going on there, that's all that can explain it.

For Michigan to have gone from 103rd in BCS...up to 5th is remarkable.

    Rich Rod was an idiot....:stupid:

Kinda excited about playing Nebraska at the Big House. Wolverines are 3 point favorites, but somehow that brings me no comfort. We're gonna need some mistake free football to beat those guys...and Fitz needs to continue to shread their defense with his running. We do have the talent to beat em...but will they execute...

Confession: Maybe it is because Michigan State has owned Michigan the last four (4) years :wedgie: that I just don't find myself rooting very hard against Michigan (unless, of course, it is against Michigan State). I still root against Michigan but on a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7. (As opposed to 10 before). I never thought I would say this but a part of me actually hopes Michigan beats Nebraska (not only because it helps Michigan State but because I don't want the new kid on the block, Nebraska, beating everyone up and making the Big Ten look bad).

Should be a really good game. It could go either way but Michigan is at home and the defense has improved.

    Michigan 24

    Nebraska 20
