Time for Darth to go with the block "M" avatar.......
I have worn a Michigan T shirt for all four Michigan wins. I have two more M T shirts, a jersey and a jacket to choose from for next week...
Still likin this post........
If you make enough predictions, one of them is bound to come true....even you, Nemo....
just saw a replay of the Kevin ware injury in Louisville vs Duke..I left the room during the game and didnt see the actual play. Having seen it and watching the players reaction, its the saddest basketball injury Ive ever seen. Its around the 7:00 mark of 1st half after Duke hits a 3 pointer.....
March Madness Live
I wss looking down at the time and even though they showed it on a replay twice right after it happen it wasn't until a buddy called me asked I see it did I rewind my DVR to look at it. Since I knew what was going to happen we were able to prepare for it. Reminds me of the Theisman and Shawn Livingston injury. The team over came the emotional crisis of the situation and responded with a resounding victory.
I felt for the guys right in front of him on the bench.......their immediate reaction says it all.
I missed it, don't know what the injury was, and will attempt to never watch the replay.
The worst part is that he is in college and hasn't been paid yet... at least not substantially.
MY twin 13yearold's watched it and they felt OK afterwards...but the reactions of the players wll break your heart more. Kellogg could barely speak...
Yeah, I'm not interested in feeling that pain. I'm just getting over the flu, and that's bad enough.
Did someone fall on him or did it just snap on landing ?
He leaped to block a 3 pointer and came down like a branch falling off a tree....it was awful....right in front of his bench. I couldnt believe the idiots at CBS showed it 3 times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Joe Thiesman came on the radio saying, these things happen in sports. Ah, no, Joe someone fell on the back of your leg and snapped it.
This kid probably had thin bones.
Michigan is a great school and deserves a great basketball coach. That was the point I was trying to make. I don't think Beilein is it, but if future UM teams ramp up their defense, I will certainly give him his praise. Great coaches realize the importance of defense. From what I have seen, UM still lives and dies by the 3-ball. It worked out for them against Florida.
You have a memory like an elephant.
As of right now Bielein is coach of the year.
Let's see what he comes up with to fix that 2-3 zone.
Michigan beats the Oranges. They get to face Louisville in the NCAA Final on Monday.
Stats looked scary for UM, but against a defensive powerhouse........a win is a win.
From the sounds of the analysts, Michigan played poorly and won, and Syracuse played great and lost. Go figure!
ANALYSTS-SMANALYSTS!!!!!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They played those last 5 minutes not lose instead of playing to win.
Those missed FT almost cost them game in the end. The refs may have bailed them out the end but flops and all, we'll take it.
One thing in their favor is that they are 20-0 vs non Big 10 teams this season
I think these kids helped...with their sign.
