Lions Did sign him to a contract. He's Expected to be the #3 guy this season......... Makes sense.........He played with Titus Young in college. I'd kinda like to see him rise to #2 in preseason.......
"I always laugh a little bit when you get graded a day after the draft and the guys grading you have generally never seen half the players," said Jim Schwartz.
The problem is the Lions are below average at CB. We don't have 2 legit NFL quality starters on the roster. All of the CB's on the roster are at best back ups and I would argue at least half of them will not be in the league once they are let go from the Lions. We can't expect a rookies drafted in the 3rd and 4th round from a small school to come in and be able to be start. The Lions thinking is that their D'Line will take the pressure off the corners so they can just put anyone out there. Well the fact is the D'Line is not as dominate as advertised. I believe the wide 9 that they play is a scheme that is not effective. The D'Line is too aggressive and are more concerned with landing the big hit rather that following where the ball is. How many times were the D'Line 10 yards up field after the QB while the ball is in the RB's hands and he is 15 yards down field?
Brady is obviously tall, but does share similarities with Moore. Smart, accurate, good leadership qualities, mental fortitude, and they are both winners. Brady completed 1 pass in his first year with NE. Let's hope that with a healthy Stafford, Moore never gets the opportunity.
Wrong again Fishola. It WAS THAT one (Bobby). He went on to play with the Jets. Here he is getting tips on how to throw a screen pass from Joe Namath.
Those LBs look good, big and fast. That WR was 1st rd talent. Before he broke his knee. He'll be fine. But the DBs are small. I don't get it. Clearly they won't spend on DBs.
I can respect that the Lions went for best available. Don't abandon the strategy that got you to respectability just to plug a few holes.
Moore might just be a camps guy. Still we have no depth there. I think the Bears are very improved. Even with out Martz.
