Seems like the momentum was with the Hoosiers the whole game, but they couldn't shake the Wolverines. If they had hit the front end of those one and ones when it was 53-49 and about 2 and change left, they could have possibly pulled this one out. 5 of the top 10 loss this weekend so probably not that much movement in the top 15 this week.

How about them Wolverines....The three ball was falling in the first half (9-15) as they raced to a 49-21 halftime lead over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Michigan did not let up in the second half until about 3 minutes left in the game and the Huskers trimmed what was a 38 point 76-38 lead down to the final 29 point win > 79-50.

Hopefully State is still wounded. These guys can't be afraid to shoot.

I'm going to tell Scoe you are being too harsh !
There's money in those games. Schools get a little pub. As I've said before a [weak]ship is better then a 1st rnd KO.

Another stinker for UM today at Iowa. The BIG's parity is rearing its ugly head.

9-2 IN THE CONFERENCE, ZOO! They werent going 17-1....I watched all of 45 seconds of this game. 13-5 will be there record and State will go 14-4. Not bad for both M schools

It was apparent that once Marble jumped off with the 3 threes and M couldn't get any closer than 6 points the rest of the half, it may be a long game. When the Hawkeyes jumped out big to open the second...it was over then. They should be okay.

Agreed, I think five losses is about right for UM. State wins the BIG with that 14-4 record, I'll bet.

After spotting the Buckeyes a 17-8 lead, Michigan takes advantage of the OSU bad three point shooting and rolls past them 70-60.

Michigan shot 52% in the second half after trailing at the break 30-26. It was the first time the Wolverines had won in Columbus since 2003.

It was a statement game on the road for the Wolverines after being blown out on national TV last Saturday afternoon by the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Wolverines move one half game ahead of the Spartans in the conference race at 10-2.

Freshman guard Derrick Walton Jr. is doing his best to make people forget about Trey Burke, but still has a ways to go. He finished with 13-10-6...,

It seems like if you stop Stauskas, you stop the Wolverines. 4 of 11 versus Wisconsin as UM loses by 13 at home. This team needs to look up "grit" in the dictionary. I expect a couple more losses, certainly to MSU at home next Sunday. 'Course, MSU lost at home to Nebraska!

When you go down by 18 points, even if you make a furious comeback as the Wolverines did, it's hard to come all the way back without running out of gas.
Stauskus had a couple of costly turnovers, and Wolverines did not get an assist in the first half. They were out boarded and gave up to many open threes in the first half. They do retain first place since the Sparty was also beaten home today.

Today loss was only the 4th home loss in the last 3 years in Ann Arbor.....with two coming this season to Arizona and now Wisconsin. .....So I expect to bounce back next Sunday in Crisler and beat the Spartans.

I have a funny feeling that the M's are out of steam. This game showed me a lil somethin about their grit as well. The rest of the conference season is mute to me. They wont make it out the second round of the NCAA's.

Michigan will be fine in the tourney. When they make the sweet 16, I'll make my final projection.
